Color blind setting?
First the recent QOL updates are great many of which have been needed for a long time. Unfortunately I'm seeing, but unable to read, a lot more red text on a dark background. I'm fortunate that I can see some color but shades of colors escape me. Red and green are the hardest to pick out especially when they're on a similar background. It's something I've obviously lived with my whole life and found numerous tricks to deal with it in my everyday life. I have been noticing several games, websites and programs are starting to add a color blind setting. I couldn't for the life of me tell what it does but I notice a world of difference when it's switched on.
I've made a post in the past about the stash items not having a description when you tap on them making it almost impossible to tell if I have 3 Tech or Mystic catalyst about to expire or 3 Science or Mutant catalyst about to expire. The iso side is great because it has an icon in the lower corner so I don't have to tell the color.
The other issue that I've been noticing more of is red text above a dark background. In the inventory I couldn't tell you if I have 9/9 or 10/9 of a catalyst. Adding the little box showing + xx in the stash was an awesome help but it's still a problem if I've let my sigil expire and had higher amount than my current max I can not see how much over the max I have before using what I have in my stash.
The other one I've never been able to read, but much less of a problem, is in arena the text that pops to say how many points are needed to unlock rewards, fortunately I can just skip it and keep going nott caring if I unlock rewards or not.
Unfortunately now I noticed in the new inventory screen under the iso tab there is a block of text in red that I have no idea what it says.
I haven't posted on this recently because most updates seem to unintentionally address most of my issues but now I'm noticing things are being changed or added that are making thing worse. Honestly there may be many more aspects of the game that I don't see or notice they just don't effect my gameplay. I know colorblindness isn't a huge concern when designing a game but I'm sure I'm not alone in having these frustrations.
I wish I had an easy solution but I have no idea how the other games or programs colorblind setting works. Possibly something that can be turned on or off in the beta setting menu might be a place to start, that way it's optional and won't effect people not needing it.
Thanks again for the recent QOL updates they are a great help and honestly a long time needed!
