ya it is hard not to spend some money because of offers like that and the thing is if you spend more money than what you might think the game would cost if it was not free to play then what is the point

Been playing since launch, and I would say around $20k+. Although my spending has been cut to around $1k a year, so I'm improving. And I wouldn't say that you NEED to spend. But human nature makes us want to get higher/further, so we end up spending because of it. That and of course we want the shinny new toy (champions), when they release.
