Why is it almost impossible to do heavy attacks in Battlegrounds?

It's impossible to do heavy attacks in like 9 out of 10 matches in Battlegrounds. Every time you stun and prepare for a heavy attack, the defender counters before you can do it. This pretty much never happens in regular quests, even against champs with twice the hero rating.

How do you get around this?

limber, a lot of people are running it. lowers the stun duration and makes it hard to get heavies off sometimes

masteries- they’ve probably got limber on, which shortens the stun timer by a lot

Remember that in Battlegrounds, you're facing off against the roster of another real Summoner, including their Masteries. The Limber mastery is quite popular, and it significantly reduces the duration of Stuns. Facing off against Max Limber will result in the opponents leaving the Stun State pretty quickly.

Try heavy countering for defenders running max Limber.

limber mastery u can counter it by either using passive stun like storm x vs skill champs or apply stupefy mastery
