Was grandmasters gauntlet not permanent?

I could hv sworn when they brought it back people said it was permenant but it’s not there

It was, but then it reset and a ton of people re-ran it for rewards in like a day, then they took it offline until they could figure out a fix. Needless to say, a clear fix did not present itself to them quickly.
