Battleground solo event energy point reduction

As you can see there is a reduction on the points that you get from the season 2 to season 3 even though they had said this in season 2 post.

I hope it was an accident because there is no announcment about this.

Would also like to see some sort of statement about this. Although I didn’t agree with the elders marks in the first place, I could at least understand that for the same amount of units (buying energy refills or marks) you would score the same points, just marks would get you there 6 times faster. Now it is not an even 1:1 units to points comparison.

Also why change for solo but not alliance event? Everything about this change doesn’t make sense.

As long as Kabam is unable to deal with cheaters until after the season is over, and does not compensate players for lost fights VS cheaters, then there is no reason to use units on the way to the GC.

This is not sneaky it feels like outright middle finger to ftp player base.

They probably weren't hitting their elder mark for unit sales target so they decided to devaluate energy point contribution further. However they don't understand the reason people aren't willing to invest in using elder marks espeically in the victory track is that the risk of facing a modder or matchmaking into an impossible to win opponent is not worth the risk that has minimal return.

I'm hoping this is a bug. If it's not....it's a clear step backwards for this game mode. I'm fine with the advantage Elders Marks give you. There has to be an advantage for spending or why bother? That being said...I haven't spent on elder's marks and not sure I ever will. Modding/Cheating cleanup is taking a positive step forward, but it doesn't help during the course of a season. If I loose marks due to a cheater I'm not getting those back. I'm potentially throwing away money or time invested.

we give you guys the benefit of the doubt that you must be sleeping but then you do this
its about 10mins from season start and not even an acknowledgement that they will ask about this.

"Hi everyone. Looks like we were supposed to communicate this change before it went live but it must have slipped through. We apologize"
