Armor burn tactic champ pool

The selection here is beyond bad when it comes to answers for skill defenders. Is this being addressed?
Maybe I'm wrong and I'm just not seeing them, but I have been scratching my head for days now. My options seem really limited and then once I try to see who my backup choices are for when my best options are banned, I'm at a complete loss.
Which of these champs were you thinking of for dealing with a Kingpin? Or a Korg? Or any of the others listed on the tactic. I'd really like to know.

Wagneto. No Korg damage. Pre-fight neuters their purify, etc.

This was part of the concerns brought to kabam. that is why they tuned down the powergain so much. now a couple prowess can still be manageable.

Wags is not on this tactic. And yes, they tuned down the def tactic. But the attack tactic is pure garbage for the skill defenders on the prowess tactic

for the most part you wont be using mutant attackers. rogue and colossus being the exception.

guardian ( doesnt place debuffs), colossus without parrying

Guardian actually does place debuffs. Shock and taunt. So your best answer so far is a champ that a huge majority of us don't have.

you cant deal with one prowess? He has a constant armor up to remove prowess.
You dont have colossus? aim for him from mutant nexuses.
there are other champs like Civil warrior and rogue who do well too. It is all about playing around the global, thats where the challenge comes in. The powergain has been nerfed to manageable levels.

Civil warrior is a great option. He has a very potent power burn off sp2. And power lock on sp3. Also would be good for buffet lanes.

I don't have Guardian or Colossus. So CW is my best bet. Awesome.

The tactic offers power burn but there is no way to counter purification
May be if it also included anti purify abilities for Armor buffs then it would've been great

May be fights on other nodes can be managed, but path 7 will be too much to handle without anti purify champs
That Fatigue node in section 1....there is absolutely no counter for that node for any of the purify defenders
Neither Rogue nor Collossus works for that....Guardian, Civil Warrior or any of the other Amor champs won't work as well
That fight will be too much to handle with this tactic

Thank you! Exactly my problem. I'm our path 7 guy so I'll be dealing with them moreso than the mutant defenders.

with the prowess now providing much less power, it is much more manageable to do it with apoc/kitty/Omega now. Just requires a little more special baiting.

ive fought these defenders in tier1 so far. the tactc has been broken so using even tactic attackers wasnt possible. Now with the massive reduction in powergain, it will be more possible.

So no then. When you do test them out, I'd be interested to find out what you think. I'm hoping they rethink the current champ pool. But if not, I'll need all the help I can get.

Bcoz that's what actually matters
Purification won't matter too much on any other node but it matters a lot on path 7, specially on that first node

read this. They nerfed the powergain. this will make it much easier to use Apoc/Omega now.

so lets get this straight. You havent tried out the nerfed version yet and just wanna complain for the sake of it?
if you do the math. 2% of a bar of power=20% over 10 seconds. even with 5 prowess that is a bar of power. Apoc doesnt crit that much. ou have to slow down your combo and bait out more specials now. It isnt insurmountable.

Sorry, there is zero point in continuing this discussion.
If you didnt know, the tactic was broken uptil this point. They were gettting far more than 20% of a bar of power per prowess. This tactic was broken. The powergain was supposed to be half that. Now, that powergain is an order of magnitude lesser.
Nobody has tested the true global before this, everyone was playing the broken global. Your experience with this global until this point is moot. Ive been playing the same broken global as everyone else.

THe new nerfed global should be up soon and that will make it more manageable to play, as I've demonstrated with the math above. If you cannot understand what i'm saying, there is no point continuing this. We can just wait and watch a few days when this new global is rolled out.

Kingpin with his increased combat power rate was already painful to bait specials.....with these prowesses he'll be going past Sp2 very often with a decent chance of reaching Sp3 or getting u cornered while trying to bait specials
His Sp2 not only gives a long duration unstoppable but also has the chance to be passively unblockable
Sp3 has a pretty long stun where he just beats u to pulp....even indestructible boost doesn't help with it
And Apoc doesn't even have that bad of a crit rate.....I know as I use him almost every single war

But sure go ahead....tell path 7 players how their concerns are invalid even though u urself don't have the required experience to have an opinion about it

I'm going to be on this side... for now... It still seems like maybe a pain but at max prowess 10, a Kinpin will have 20% power gain, that is 2% more than Spite (18%). And while it's constant for the remainder of the fight once you get them going & in comparison with Spite - you can turn it off/have down time, I still do think Apoc can work for path 7 Kingpins. I've done several in prior seasons cleanly and easily. This just amps up the difficulty factor a bit and eating an L3 with Invuln... you still get stunned an smacked after. Should be fun! 😆

I'd hope for the Crit RNG on the 2nd instance, I don't think the global would come into play much for that fight. 3rd fight... could be a nightmare w/ that RNG and makes me consider removing precision mastery if I'm assigned this fight again in Season 42 🤘🏼

to be perfectly safe, you might have to
1) shorten combos, slow the fight
2) remove crit masteries. If you are pushing him to have multiple prowess you will have to slow it down.
