Else suicide in Battlegrounds

I faced an opponent that placed Elsa as defender. And right away from the jump I was taking tons of degen damage. This is totally unacceptable and only does one thing, and that's to breed absolute contempt!

Battlegrounds should be about outwitting others, counter offensives and some greater element of skill. If I'm facing a champion that has suicides and I'm penalised just for facing said champion, particularly Elsa that's literally a hamstring on what's supposed to be a fair start.

I'm not saying Kabam should do away with her ability at all. But you need to differentiate between the bleed inflicted by passive mastery and any bleed inflicted by the attacker. THIS IS NOT COOL!

You literally said "outwitting other".... placing defenders that benefit from recoils is a strategy.... You didn't pick a counter and complained. That's like saying Magneto shouldn't be allowed on defense because all you had were #metal champs.

Run a mutant.

You say battlegrounds should be about outwitting your opponent. Well they outwitted you by placing Elsa and you fell into the Elsa trap of not bringing a mutant counter.

I don’t have a poison immune champ, my opponent placed ibom. Should not be fair. Ibom should be banned till I pull a poison immune champ

Other "stop hurting yourself" champs to watch out for:
Duped omega red
Cable
Kingpin
Moleman
Anyone who powers up from shrugging buffs basically
Robots

Also don't bring a crit machine to an ebony maw fight

There's a lot of things to remember, really. It's a bit much sometimes.

What a strange thing to complain about. Ban better, draft better. Strategy is the name of the game with BGs, there are ton of matchups outside of Elsa that can be frustrating but that’s why you do your best to strategize around them when they come up.

I faced havok and got died because of the plasma thing, not cool kabam.

Also i faced dragon man and got degen because i break his armor, not cool kabam.

Ur opponent outwitted u
Most of the times u can judge from PI if the opponent has suicides or not
And even when that is not possible, it's better to always assume an Elsa on defense will have suicides

That's fair enough, Thanks for clarifying to those who provided a more constructive criticism. I just thought that suicides based masteries that triggered passives were overkill to the start of a fight but, you are right. I didn't think it through, to be fair it's the first encounter I've had with Elsa in BG where the player had suicides.

I guess I was just sore from that loss😬

You would have loved last week’s node in GC. A duped Terrax is immune to power manipulation, meaning his rock field stays on the entire fight.
