Battlegrounds Rankings update

IMO BG rankings need a major overhaul into a % based ranking. There are so many players participating in this mode that thousands of players are packed into the lowest tiers which don’t reflect the time effort and wins they achieved. You could win 10 GC battles in a row and end up in bottom tier URU 3 same as someone who lost every match and has zero points. Better rankings and more rewards per win are sorely needed for this otherwise good game mode.

I think it’s just a particular problem we are facing this season. The cutoff from Uru 3 into 2 is huge compared to previous seasons. I remember when you had to win only a few fights and this time around you need 170+ points.

It’s ridiculous. And once you get into uru 2 you need maybe 4 wins max to get into gamma 3 from there.

Biggest issue is risk/reward is way off. You’re playing mostly skilled players with big accounts. If you win 1/2 the matches you go nowhere. If you win 2-3 and gain a tier you lose it the next day as more players join. If you lose 2-3 now you are in a deep hole

Impossible to win 16 straight and not move up, restart your app or count more accurate but something doesn’t add up.

How many points do you have? 16 wins in a row is like 200+ points which lands you around gamma 3

Last I checked, the bottom of Uru 2 was around 170-ish rating. Eleven consecutive wins should be in Uru 2, twelve consecutive wins is all but guaranteed to place you in Uru 2.

Sixteen wins in a row would have a net rating increase of about 240 to 250 points, which would place you completely out of Uru altogether. Barring some crazy lopsided matches with extremely lopsided ratings differentials, this is mathematically impossible.

If you grind the last week then yes it’s a hassle and feels like a waste of time. But I think it’s fair, those of us that have been very competitive and gotten into the GC within the first week and been grinding points the last 4 weeks are all placing around where our skill and roster should be in my opinion. Can’t expect to blast into celestial 6 from 0 points in the very last week. Not saying that’s your exact situation but just to put an example.

It is already clear that there are a lot of people playing.
Mysterium 1 came in at 460 points.
In other seasons this was enough to be in the top 3.
It has gone up more and more. Many energy or elder mark refills are needed to continue playing and reach this amount of points.
It's about time to have more space in all rankings for more players. It's the only way to decrease this huge amount of points.
