So with the damage reduction from taunt being fixed this week, I thought I’d baseline where it currently is. However I’m not entirely sure how that should interact with inequity, inequity being highlighted in her fix as a recommended mastery. So I turned inequity on 3/3 for this test which from the description should ‘passively reduce enemy attack by 6% for each debuff up to max 36%’ (logically I assume the max would be at 6 debuffs and above).
So to the trusty punching bag RoL Winter Soldier - except this time he is punching me. For this I’m only looking at non-critical hits.
With no debuffs on him he hits Cassie for:
Medium: 550
Light: 353
With 1 taunt. This should be reducing for the broken amount of 90% from Cassie’s ability and an extra 6% from inequity. Seems to only be the 90% from taunt.
Medium: 55
Light: 36
With 1 taunt and 9 power stings. Inequity should now be giving the max 36%. Still only see the 90% reduction.
Medium: 55
Light: 36
Now without taunt. 1 power sting should and does give 6% reduction.
Medium: 517
Light: 332
5 power stings. In theory gives 30% reduction and does in practice also.
Medium: 385
Light: 247
So inequity seems to work as expected when no taunt. But with taunt it does nothing. I assume this is because the cap is at 36% which is already met by the taunt. Alternatively this is unintended and a side effect of the 90% reduction bug. Will be interesting to see if this changes with Kabam saying the new taunt reduction of 50% should be able to be boosted with inequity.
I will test this when when the update is out.
Bonus: when you add Winter Soldier’s fury you still see the same % reductions, so both the taunt and inequity are working off modified attack.
