Unexpected take down

I've now finished 8.3 100% and to say the final boss was fun would be an understatement. Cerastes was incredibly fun and great learning curve to master once you understand the fight. My first 2 attempts were ok with nothing too serious to cheer about but my final path against him had the trap node with something about DOT debuffs giving me a slight helping hand here. Originally I was using this Champion to test the trap node out but instead the final practise run became THE RUN. Not a fast solo by any means but it was intense and fun still.

Who has everyone else used for this new Boss? Really curious to see who else was useful to different players.

I only used Herc first to spite Kabam after they mentioned in the livestream that he wouldnt be good for the fight or something along those lines lol

You know they don't have many room to create fights that aren't bs and don't affect other champs too except Hercules.
Unless they introduce a specific node that targets his tags or him directly 🙂

Future nodes will have specific champions ban like AW, can't use certain champs

Wasn't there a node called "Non Believer" or something in the Legend Gauntlet RoL run, making #gods do 95% less damage?

Yeah that was obviously aimed at herc after the grandmasters gauntlet vision cheese where you just sp3 to go indestructible and eat visions sp3. Repeat. This was the closest theyve ever been to directly nerfing herc but it also nerfed some champs like odin who are also gods as a side effect. Not that bad though as it was just a little event but if that were in story then that’d be more of a problem to just purposely nerf a champ through nodes which would be just uncouth.

Designing a node that counters a specific champ isn’t a nerf. It’s countering using a specific champ

Same. I did the test run with dot using my gorr and " accidentally" soloed him
