What really gets me is that the people "upstairs" always think the people "downstairs" are idiots, just stop spinning stuff and sugarcoating your wording and say it like it is. Like we all know the real reasons for this announcement.

that’s kinda the point. they don’t want most of the player base to 100% necro within the first 2 weeks of it being out. it’s supposed to be something you work towards for a few months

How dare a company try to make a profit. Which will allow them to keep making a game you play for free. And you still don't need to buy revives. Can someone with your skill level explore it in a few days with the revives available in game? Most likely not. But you can certainly do a path a month.

I have no problem with them saying, we are nerfing revive farming in order to get money out of our pockets, just be transparent and don't sugarcoat wording like "Trivialize" and everything wrong about the game is not Trivializing?

How do I work for content where I'm supposed to die after two minutes in no matter what, also how do I do Necro with stash of only 20 revives max ? It the max is let's say a hundred, it will make me slowly build my stash and poke at it one month at a time like your saying

1st you don’t just die after 2 minutes, sure it’s harder when the timer runs out but you can still get a lot more damage in if you can dex specials while rooted.

2nd you can get about 75 revives for free stored up if you know what you’re doing

Necropolis isn't solely for whales, revives are still prevalent in the early acts right now. My best path in Necropolis only took 6 revives including GM, worst took nearly 30 but that was my second run and was a bad path. A little under Two days of farming a specific act 5 quest got my L1 revives maxed with 15 more in overflow.

The people doing the farming are free to play players, that simply can’t afford to buy anything in the game. The game says free to play not free to try!
The people that are farming wouldn’t spend money if they couldn’t farm because they don’t have the money to spend. Those of us who do spend a lot of money on this game, and way more than we should keep the lights on. So that free two player players can play the game. But instead the brain trust at kabam thinks that they’re losing money for some reason. as if people who aren’t spending money, or somehow going to. The end result is obvious.

People will leave the game because they can’t actually play it anymore. Removing the entire notion of free to play accounts. Except for Youtubers they can spend 8 to 12 hours on the game because they get paid to do it.

I for one am thoroughly upset that I will be losing the last of my friends that play this game. But I could see how a bunch of apologists and kabam riders will always be of the “nothing to see here” variety. Have some empathy. For once! And stay true to what you playing, the game is, which is a free to play a game.
