Battlegrounds state and rewards buff

I think it's clear that battlegrounds right now has a much lower partecipation compared to a few seasons ago and mainly it's because the rewards are really outdated and same for the bg store, it definitely needs something bonus for valiant players. Can we get something for next season? If there are no changes to bg, rewards or the store the partecipation will always be lower and lower.

My participation in BGs didn't decrease because of rewards, it decreased because of everything else going on. Time I would have spent in BGs was time I used against WoW Abs man. There's a lot of stuff to do this month instead of just BGs

I do bg for the store but right now it not great haha

While there is a lot going on right now, participation is down. The last 4-5 seasons (not the bonus rewards seasons) it's obvious participation is down. I usually average anywhere from 220-250 points in GC and that is almost ALWAYS Q2 or Q3. Last season, it was M3. This season it's M1. Rewards are the main issue, but there are others. The metas are boring and no one likes using primarily one class for a whole season. 4 metas were 100x better. The tiered start system has made it faster but arguably more boring. The massive rosters with every new champs as 6r5 or 7r2 just make it not fun.

Make no mistake, the rewards are the obvious issue. BGs is going into its 16th season and the solo event and alliance event has never been updated, save those few seasons with bonuses. Who wants to grind out 300k points for a 6* crystal?

The new shop is a huge joke... the prices are the same for the shields, this season I didn't manage to mount too many big decks and you leave it like that ok it's over for me the battleground I spend my time getting angry alone for something that has become cancer...

From what I’ve heard it seems like mostly a buff for valiants. This is an incredibly good buff for valiants. Much more T6B, T6C, and T3A available.

Why did 6* shards not drop more significantly? Those were already very over valued and clearly you dropped 6* stones by 200% which supports this.

Meanwhile the people who are losing motivation to play the game mode have no change. Can't say I'm pleased with this update.

You did, but it’s not until next season. So we have to go another season with terrible solo and alliance rewards. It’s a great game mode, but it’s also quite time/focus intensive.

There’s just no motivation to play hard or use a ton of elders with the complete lack of payout. Even the relic rewards from placing high in the rankings are worthless now.

That's nice but still no buff on ranking rewards, quite disappointing. Apart from Tropy tokens (which is good now) it does not give anything relevant or exciting anymore.

So fellow paragons, we got another slap on face & there way of saying don't wait for act8.4 . Go for necro & become valiant & till then u don't get anything good.
The word "store update for paragon " literally meant nothing. Not even a single change in there. 💀

Huge W to kabam for the valiant store, The stuff is juicy, I'm actually worried rn cuz I skipped most of this season bgs, lol.

But the valiant store is a huge update imo. Especially those sig stones and t6cc selectors. 5k tokens for 50 6* sigs (18k for paragon), 10k tokens for t6cc of choice (30k for paragon and a month full of wait time). And good amount of 7* shards as well (500 shards for 2k tokens). Absolutely amazing and pushes valiants to play more.

But my paragon homies deserve better. But again, 8.4 is otw and most endgame paragon will become valiants, and It'll be alright.

BGs just aren't fun. Glad I held my tokens all season in anticipation of the Val store.
