Enchantress

I think something needs to be done with Enchantress, she is way to complicated to use and as a defender she is way yo hard to plan for, given she starts with a number of random spells and if the AI chooses not to use a heavy attacks you can't get rid of certain ones.

Yeah she makes me want to use falcon (hold block and then punch) and colossus (parry heavy, and then heavy sp2) a lot more

I saw msd play with her and dude it was most unsatisfying thing in the game right now. All that ramp for her to do 35k on sp2 and some 3k dot for 10sec or so. He used a 7* R2. So if you get her dont even try her on offense rank her up and place in your bg deck she will save your fav champ from getting banned. That is the only use for her right now.

Yeah on offense no bigger, but on Defense she is just to random to plan for.

Here is the thing, in order to get rid of her spells u need to knock her down, interrupt or punish her heavy, and intercept her. Problem is if the initial spells she gets arw the right ones you can't knock her down, or intercept or punish anything. And if she has her spells when she does a special you take reflective damage.

I don't know cause she does have 5/5 survivability and 5/5 utility, if they gave her 4/5 damage whether it's short or long fights she might be a bit busted.

We'll see, she's fairly new for now, not many people have her at the moment

Did you also consider that she has 5 hits on the Sp2 and that you're most likely going to be getting an additional 100k burst of Incinerate damage (depending on what spell you cast) after the Sp2? That is also excluding the red number damage after the Sp2
I don't know where y'all are getting this "MID DAMAGE" narrative from because we may not be seeing the same champion. Considering you keep your damage for the rest of the fight without any sort of timer like dust

Hmmmm I mean it took nearly 10 minutes to kill Necropolis Odin with a r3, that would normally be mid in my book but the damage isn't actually bad I will admit that. The issue is that it takes 6 minutes to get that damage lol realistically, how many fights are that long? Necropolis? Sure but she's not even close to being as fast and easy for it as the usual most popular options (Kate, Shuri, Ægon etc) and even the newer ones (Onslaught etc).

Also, Northstar has insane damage too (and I'm pretty sure it's even bigger than Enchantress'), people just haven't used him cause he's also meant for Necropolis type content exclusively and we don't have anything like that at the moment.

Again you can't always remove them, when she is on defense. If she gets the right spells to start you can't hit her to knock her down or intercept or punish her. It's happened to me a few times.

Yeah, or that node where after knocking the defender down with a heavy, you need to use a special within a few seconds or take massive damage. I forget the name.

I was lucky enough to pull her as a 7* from a valiant crystal, I have to say, I don't think she's going to be nearly as hard as Serpent once people learn what the spells do. She can also kind of just be nuked down.

Agreed, remove spells, bait two sp1s and any science champ with big special damage or stun lock will nuke her: Red Goat, Hulk, Titania, Silk, Overseer, OG Spidey, Morbius, Spot etc + Torch and Joe as bonus.

Gonna Re-post this from another thread. Basically her problem isn’t technically her damage but how Kabam has limited her on offense when compared to her ramp up as a defender. Ultimately she needs to have as many spells as possible ⬇️

“Between the signature ability being kind of mid, needing to have NINE SPELLS in order to trigger burst damage, having a damage cap on spells being 12 (again… WHY?), and now I also have to see the defender who can take zero damage while reflecting it all back instantly also trigger multiple spells at the same time???”

Kabam has given too much to the defender. Everyone go read her kit where it specifies “AS AN ATTACKER” .. she has nothing there! It takes too long to reach 9 spells for us to care (it also is painful to lose 4-6 spells since that’s when you can really start to do damage) we have 0 damage reduction, reflection, we don’t start fights with any spells active (how about at LEAST a charm spell, I mean my gosh 🥲) can you at least buy us dinner next time?

You gutys are missing something. On defense she gets random spells to start. If those random spells happen to be the ones we're she can't be knocked down, and can't be hit, your in trouble as that means no way to remove spells. Especially if the AI does not do any heavy attacks. This scenario happens about 33% of the time so far.

Rewrite part of her kit so that the random buffs at start benefit goes to the attacker instead and the game is immediately a better place. (Starting with 2 or 3 buffs reduces her ramp up by 50% or even more depending on which buffs you get) Final answer 😃

Absolutely. It's gotten ridiculous. There needs to be some counters coming. Better attackers too. They're so scared of making another Hercules offensively but they'll make broken defenders like Onslaught, Bullseye, Serpent etc. I hope they balance it out.

Onslaught is also one of the best attackers as well, it's what makes him one of the best (if not the best) mutants.

Question about her spells: are the certain actions to remove her spells are similar to node buffs? Like intercepting, knocking down, etc. Aren't those the same things that have to be done on some nodes?

Yes. What’s buried in her kit on her SP2 description is actually the key to having success against her “most” of the time. Remove the green spell (punish heavy) first. I struggled mightily against her until someone brought that nugget out.
