The issue for me is not the root/reverse controls, it's the freaking Ai. There is no sp2 bias but Jesus Christ it doesn't want to throw sp1.

Bait sp1 on root, bait sp2 on reverse.

Was rather manageable.
I got bored baiting sp1s.
And ai could read inputs
, threw sp1s as soon as I taped to dash back, died many times like that.

The XL objective with hulk was pretty easy, r3 hulk done it in 1 revive but I have wasted a really unhealthy amount of energy trying to get a proper run using scorpion or any of my potato S size control denial champs

Videos of your fights? I will say I did manage to get Toad down *once* so far with Hulkling for the Kree objective, but I had to restart several times first until I got a really decent run to where he was about at 1/4 health left and then I ate it, so I just used a single revive to finish him.

So far though, I have not had a very good run on the XL + Defensive Tank objective. I’ve tried using my 7* R1 duped Destroyer and Hulk a few times each without success, but I’m also super tired after a 12 hour work shift, guess I’ll try again after I get some sleep lol 🤷🏻‍♂️

Glad to hear iam not the only one was losing my mind dexing him for 4 mins straight after which I slipped up and got a 5 hit combos and was done for and yet the ai still didn't use it's sp finally got the objectives down after trying for 3hrs straight 1st 2 were easy with juggs and hulkling last one took me 15 revives 🥲

You definitely are lucky man cause me and my entire alliance mates are having trouble with the ai it's like 3x passive than the moleman ai just refuses to use it's sp1

It's an AI dependant fight for sure, toad seemed to want to back off and block or flail at the air most of the time. Got a solo with Viv and CMM one revive with hulk because assassin burst dead, and 3 revives with vision because he is stinky poopoo

Toad just won’t throw his SP1 for a good minute. Not sure how ppl are doing the fight in 2 min. In my eyes that’s impossible as he doesn’t throw his SP attack for at least a minute from getting it. Fight would be a decent fight but Kabam strike again & creat the most passive AI I have ever come across since playing the game.

If you've got a Hulkbuster, I highly recommend him. His power control is good enough to prevent Toad throwing a single special, if you play it right.

My strategy is that just play like he doesn't throw sp1, and hit him badly 😆 use some revives, boosts and done 😅
