What is whiffing and how do you do it???

Means throwing an attack and it doesn't hit the opponent. Dash back and tap light attack. Your champ will perform the attack but it won't fit the defender

Dash back, throw a light. That's the fastest and safest way.

tap light away from the opponent, make sure it does not make contact with either block, or as a hit.

Imagine how someone far away swings his hand at you, but falls short.
