Valiant daily crystal silent nerf

5k 7 star shards have disappeared. I’ve been getting t5cc or t5cc fragments in a row! I claim both crystals in game and web store every single day! But I haven’t got shards for a very long time! The current odds for shards are definitely lower! Idk if you guys have the same suspicion? I highly suspect the crystal got silently nerfed!

I just got the 5k 7* shards a few days ago. Forgot it was even an option in the free crystals we get every day for doing nothing but I was pleasantly surprised to see it.

I still have yet to get a 7* pull from the Valiant daily crystal... Earlier this year, I was curious how often I would get the 5k 7* shards so I started capturing it.

Here are my results since end of March which is 6 times in 7 months. #'s are estimates as I don't track the exact number of crystals but just a quick screen shot when I get something good and generally get two crystals per day. So about 5k every 35 or so days OR about one 5k pull every 70 crystals or so is my trend OR 1.4% drop rate (which could be bad or good - we don't know the exact rate it's set to in-game).

Am I due for another pull...? You could say yes based on prior history but while I could pull two 5k's tomorrow, it's also very possible I may not pull any for the rest of the year. This is RNG.

The odds for 7* shards in the Valiant daily crystal, if I recall correctly, is 1.51% which is about one in 66 crystals.

Come back when you've opened about 275 and failed to get shards. The odds against that happening are about 1.5% or about the same as the odds of actually getting 7* shards in one opening.

Interestingly, I've gotten shards three times in the last twenty four pulls, which is pretty lucky recently. That was after a drought of seventy nine openings without pulling shards.

My longest drought was actually right from the beginning. It was 170 openings before I got my first 7* shard drop.

To date I've opened 527 Valiant daily crystals, although I'm currently sitting on a pile I haven't opened yet. Out of 527 I've pulled 7* shards ten times. That is a drop rate of 1.9%, slightly higher than the 1.51% quoted.

I track every single Daily crystal, every single arena crystal, and every single featured crystal, among a few others, that I open, individually. Precisely because all it takes is for some people to open two crystals in a row and not get what they want and suddenly the crystals are rigged or they have been stealth nerfed or "there's no such thing as RNG so the crystals aren't really random."

I don't know why you lot are all on this silent nerf train. I can tell you for a fact that if kabam wanted to nerf something, they wouldn't even wait until update day they would just do it, very publicly, and laugh at us when we cry.
