The Thor Relic Problem

So let me start by saying I absolutely love this relic - it’s one of the most versatile and powerful relics we have, making it arguably the best relic in the game. Currently I have my duped 6* Thor relic on my r3 sig 200 7* Adam Warlock (yes, I’m flexing, I love it). In my opinion, Adam’s the most worthy of holding the 6* iteration of the relic, since the runes can further increase both his massive Precision and Fury buffs.

There’s juste oneee problem: The innate ability for the relic doesn’t work/isn’t even attainable to my knowledge.

It’s a great idea - however I’ve tried numerous champions who SHOULD make it work but it just doesn’t. I want to say Swedeah was able to make it work on The Champion in a video, but I’m not sure, and I aint ranking The Champion up.

Is anyone aware of how to take advantage of what looks like an absolutely busted innate ability? If so, please let me know below. Otherwise, Kabam please update this to make it more realistic/attainable (and give us more relics, I love relics!!).

Pretty sure angela can take full advantage of this, the relic is made for her.

So the wording might be a bit unclear - but there are 3 conditions here that need to be met in order for the 3 aptitudes (and therefore the intensify) to trigger:

1. You need to have gained 1 of each fury/precision/armour. This is due to the phrasing ‘the first time’, which indicates that an aptitude trigger only works once for each of the listed buffs (the FIRST time that individual buff is gained).

3. The buffs need to be indefinite, they can’t have a specified duration

3. They must trigger during an aptitude buff’s duration, not before or after.

Someone like Vox can trigger the intensify. During the striker’s aptitude buff duration, you need to land a medium (fury), Dex/convert a precision, and get hit by a medium (armour). This triggers the intensify as you can see:

That’s what I assumed - appreciate the clarification and the example!! I just wish it wasn’t as restrictive as it feels like it is now.

I believe Odin can also get all three with the Aptitude from Odinsleep; otherwise I don’t think there’s a way to retrigger his starting buffs once you have an Aptitude. Venom can also do it, although he’s usually better served by his own relic.

Worth noting the dexterity precision does count as an indefinite precision.

You can retrigger Odin’s starting buffs with his sp3, which applies an additional copy of his starting indefinite armor up and fury buffs. You can use it to trigger the Thor relic effects if you don’t have the Odinsleep aptitude active, just make sure to throw it after you activate the striker aptitude.

I forgot the SP3 copies were also indefinite (I mostly use Odin to give Angela his prefights)

Yes, the innate ability works. I use the Thor relic on Angela and Vox and both work.

I use that on my odin and he the ability works fine for me as odin meets all the criteria at the start of the fight itself
