R3 Sandman is OP 🏖️

Managed to open 7 Star Sandman (one of my all time favorite Marvel characters) in 2 crystals back to back out of both of my Glorious Games crystals! Instantly took him to Rank 3 with a Science 2-3 Gem.

His debuff burst damage is insane, utility off the charts, immunities are elite… Sandman is so overlooked because the Science class cooks in general. But Sandman is a tanky, fun champ that deals with pesky regen and power gain matchups. Once you get him going (which is quickly), he becomes an unstoppable force with his Quicksand.

Plus, his animations are absolutely OP. Just wanted to share my opening and put him on a pedestal for a moment. 🏖️

Wholeheartedly agree. 👍 Ranked up, he’s super Quest friendly. And can get around some of the most annoying nodes when it comes to regen and power gain. People just need to use him more. 🤷‍♂️

He's also sometimes good for defense in BGs. He's a bit tanky and his specials stall for time. I won a few fights this round of BGs with him.

One thing dust has over sandman is her ability to enter sandstorm and single handedly give lag and delays to slightly older devices 🤣

Yup, forgot to to mention his longer specials! Health pool is nuts too. My R3 Sasquatch has 112K health and Sandman has 89K health.

Yeah, I love my r3 as well. He's one of my most-used champions. I initially started ranking him up because I noticed that he was usually good for Eternity of Pain-style fights, but I've used him a ton in all kinds of content.

He has so much utility, it's crazy. Three immunities, deals with power gain and regen on his SP1, evade and unstoppable with his SP2, and has massive damage on his SP3. When he becomes unstable, he also becomes passively unstoppable and he gets extremely easy openings for his heavy attack since he just becomes passively indestructible if hit by a basic attack.

He's ridiculous. I love him.

He came out first and the game had kinda moved away from just complete immunity to all abilities

Pretty sure onslaught is immune to reverse controls, I used him a few months ago vs a kindred side quest fight that had reverse controls

I checked and he isn't, he only has psychic shielding.

I have a R2 Sandman and do live him but I chose to R3 Titania and Hulk over him. But next R3 science will either be him or silk but kinda leaning towards silk cuz I finally got her duped and he's still unduped
