So, When Are We Going To Start Allowing Passives To Work On Node 49?

I get it, there are SOME counters for Bullseye on Node 49 in AW. Sunspot can work. I've used Gorr in the past. Etc.

But I still don't get how we can design champs like Onslaught and Negasonic to be Bullseye counters, yet, his most common placement for most seasons, they still don't work there! The passive incinerates don't allow you to stun or gain power. Neither do Onslaughts Neuroshocks works to gain power either. Many of the recent mutant champs have been unable to take the trickiest skill defender here for a year now because of what feels like a design oversight.

Any chance we can see THIS updated sometime soon in AW?

Yeah node 49 is a pain for most champs vs bullseye since if u dont die to crits or bleed u die to degen as brute force and his specials are long

You can just p lay normally 5 hits and bait special. You have 5 mins and even r3 bullseye is squishy + you can heal all sp1 damage like gorr.

Another good counter would be prowler.

You don’t need to parry it. A long fight.

If you’re looking for an extra counter, I’ve done the fight with max dread Serpent. At max dread, he has -60% instant damaging effect potency (Bullseye’s bleeds deal less damage) and -60% crit penetration (Bullseye’s crits through block are weaker). Serpent has passive power gain so he can still throw specials and true focus which lets him ignore Bullseye’s evade (really important to avoid brute force damage). Ideally though you’d spend a power start boost to get off your sp1 before Bullseye.

I do agree though that it’d be nice if they made that power gain DOT node (whatever it’s called, the name is escaping me) work with passives like they did in that bg meta a while back. Node 49 in war has always felt like a weirdly high step up in difficulty compared to even the other miniboss nodes.

This node is a pain in the back. I always use NTW with a bar of power (can't remember the name of the boost but you know what I'm talking about). I solo him like 60% of time and the rest it costs me 1 death. The strat I use is bait heavy or intercept to place 1 incinerate, allow stun, don't medium. When it gets over 5 incinerates I wait for stun node to come back and use sp1 to turn it off again and push him to sp2. The ai doesn't always play by the book tho. If passives were allowed it would be a breeze

I typically use Iceman for that node. The coldsnap shuts down his evade and lasts long enough to give you a full bar of power back. I also will usually use the power boost so that I have some cushion in case something goes awry and I miss an sp1.

It’s still not a guarantee. I think I probably have like a 70-80% success rate with that set up. But sometimes Bullseye will just turtle up and let that degen eat at me.

I dislike a lot of things about this war node, but the thing I wish they would change the most is Brute Force. You’re already taking so much chip damage from Bullseye being Bullseye, taking even more damage just because you have to wait for his friggin sp1 evade to run out is so frustrating. Gotta wait for him to actually bait it, then you have you wait for the special animation to play out, and then you have to wait for the evade to run out, and by the time that happens you’re several seconds into Brute Force and bleeding HP.

Yeah brute force really does kinda feel like a relic of its time these days with the longer unpublishable specials. It’d be so much more manageable if the timer paused during the opponent’s specials like so many modern nodes.

Yeah at the very least they should be conscious about which champ they're putting it on. Although that might be too much to ask

passive incinerates do allow you to parry actually. i've taken that node a few times with Wiccan (not against bullseye) and it only prevents him from gaining power but he can parry stun when his incinerate passive is applied. the same is the case with NTW.

Iron heart is my go to for bullseye there, her incinerates shut off the stun reflect, she has solid block proficiency and once you get 5+ incinerates and lock, she shuts off his bleed when blocking hits. Just make sure you get those 5 before he throws his first sp attack

When they can design a champ on a node it's less of a big deal. When we are placing champs on nodes. We are going to come up with the most annoying combo's possible. I think Brute Force being paused during Special's (Or at least a modified version of that for war) wouldn't be a bad idea either! At this point in the contest, that has just become a node that's a real pain point.

Buddy u need HP.. those revive are useless as the focus on 3 AB not clearing . So if u r low on health ur chances to get that AB are tremendously low.. u need to use HP to be at 100% for a chance of solo.. hope u understand the theory and concept..

At high levels a five hit combo is enough for defenders to KO your attacker with 40% health

Imagine this you reach node 49 with 10 20% per champ on ur team . U have zero chance to solo node 49..u end up using HP to get to 100% for a chance but the node is super crazy and u loose.. u again use free Revive and use HP to get 100% for a chance . Hope it makes sense..u r trying to get as many AB as possible .
