Should I go for valiant or wait for isophyne?

Hey guys,

I'm one quest away from 8.3.6 and I have one 7 star rank 3 champ (ham) already. And I'm just 1.5k short of getting my 3rd tier 4 alpha catalyst. Should I rank up anyone of my current 7 star champion to rank 3 and go for valiant. Or wait for Isophyne which is supposed to be best 7 star?

Depends on your choice, as far as i’m aware nothing separates paragon and valiant apart from the Christmas day gift, which is after banquet starts. So if you do it now or later doesn’t matter as long as it’s before 25th of December i think.

Wait for Isophyne if you want, if not then both count neferia and onslaught are highly desirable r3s

Always progress when you can. You will have access to more R3 materials at Valiant than you do at Paragon, so getting Isophyne to R3 won't take as long anyway.

I'd wait for isophyne, it is only about 2 weeks away

I suggest you become valiant ASAP. That's 2 weeks of Valiant Super Daily Event and the Daily crystal that you'll be missing out on where you will be able to get T4 alpha and other rank up materials.

You can r3 Ham, sinister, count nefa, onslaught, shuri, Bishop, Venom

You got a lot of top tier options,
So it's question of if you want to wait?
At least wait till Isophyne proper videos are released.

Go for valiant now. The more progressed you are now, the more r3s you will have later. You can do isophyne next.

Always prioritize progression, especially at this time of year. As others pointed out, once you’re valiant, your rewards improve and you get better value for every day you’re active. You’ve got great options. World, Sinister, Onslaught, etc

I’d take that Onslaught to R3, he’s the best mutant in the game currently. You’ll probably get another R3 very soon, and the progression rewards are worth it.

As far as should you, yeah, I would. I have a feeling there is some events and such they haven't announced yet and being in the position of valiant would be helpful.

The funny thing is I'm almost in the exact same position as you. I'm on 8.3.6 with a 7*r3 Ham. Only difference is I spent all my tier 4 alpha on him. Hoping I'll snag a lot of rank up materials on the first day of Banquet to get a second R3. Gonna try to take out Cerestes later on tonight.
