I'd say banquet now, valiant later. I think they are going to club both paragon and valiant together for this banquet. So just push for valiant at your own pace and save your units.

only 1200 units? the risk is you can not gain valiant and loss those 1200 units lol. If you are not much skills, you should have atleast 5k
