Social menu is broken with new update

As of the new update, I am unable to scroll down through my friends list, nor click on anybody's picture in the search list in order to send them an invite or message them. It's as if this entire menu is unresponsive, other than the buttons along the right side.

This means I can't message any friends beyond the first 7 in my list, since I can't scroll down, and searching for them does not expose a button to message them.

I’m having the same issue. It’s making recruiting nearly impossible for me because of this.

Same here. And with the Line app issue where you're only able to search, find, and add people only from the same country where your Line account is registered, it's become a recruiting nightmare. With people either retiring because of the state of the game or moving to another alliance after banquet event, it's added stress of much extra time and effort.

When you doing your recruiting via Line. Just share your QR link in your post for them to add you or if you are in the same Line group (recruiting group) they can still add you as friend.

That's what we've been doing, but we shouldn't have to. It needs to be fixed. There's an issue with the boost screen as well, as it isn't responding readily to scrolling. These are wasting time unnecessarily.

It's funny that this thread was started on January 7th and still no comment from anyone at Kabam, most of my alliance has submitted tickets on this issue and still nothing, it's near impossible to recruit anyone without being able to send them an invite to the alliance, great start to the year @kabam

Exactly, this is very annoying when ally needs to recruit members. In addition, another bug is not displaying incoming message notifications, making members unable to receive messages in time.

It was pointed out to me by an alli mate, after hearing me rant about the state of the friends list for the 100th time - that there IS an invisible bar. It still takes me multiple swipes to get it to scroll but at least it's a work around.




So to me this no longer looks like a bug, but just a "great idea" of some dev with too much time on their hands.

Again, an unnecessary change, totally pointless and worked much better as it was before.

Definitely needs to be changed back.

Even with that info you still can't tap on the player to send them message or invite, plus a lot are complaining about not even getting notifications when they get a message

I think that is just coincidence, as to the timing (since you say it also only works sometimes.

Waiting a bit sometimes will then allow you to click on profile pic. If profile pic (press, don't release) response, then you can proceed with your Swipe (don’t release beforehand, continue from initial press/check).

Same as swiping from any general area too (but at least on profile icon, you get an initial “indicator’ whether the game refresh has caught up to itself and would allow subsequent swipe).
