I just finished 3 matches off season but this meta is not even fun to play just a few champs are immuum to both burn and poison. And willpower does nothing. Can we please for once get a fun meta to play then this BS

You have 3 options in the meta.

Use a debuff champ to gain dot damage resistance. 1 debuff gives you 35% so 3 counters the entirety of any inflicted debuff.

The other is long and that's to choose either a position or Incinerate immune champ and waiting out the dot timer.

Find champs that are immune to both.

I haven’t done a match so can’t talk about the enjoyment of the meta, but challenging your roster depth is a key part of bg.

The hazard damage isn't that bad, I think you can still nuke through it with non-immune champs...
Otherwise, the only dual immune champs I can think of are Anti-Venom, BWCV, EF, Iceman, Kindred, Maestro, Mephisto, & PP?

Yeah that doesn’t work i had 30 burns on bullseye with negasonic and still got the posion damage same goes for shuri her shocks still getting dot damage

Negasonic inflicts passives, not debuffs
Shuri can inflict both, maybe you had only passives on

Negasonic is bonkers indeed this meta is easy skip. Shuri did okay next match but not my cup of tea meta’s build for certain champs sucks

A couple things to note. First, NTW deals out passives, not debuffs, so she would never work anyway. Second, it's important to read the node. You need #AW: decay champs to take advantage of the node. That is a select pool of champions from the science and cosmic classes, so Shuri wasn't going to work either.
So you want champs with immunities or champs with the decay tag.

I know i have read it but ther are not many champs that are both incinerate and poison immuum. Arcade (prefight), peni parker, emma frost (diamond form) iceman, mephisto to name a few and the tactic attackers and defenders are most never used champs. I do not think many players like this sort of meta. Battlegrounds should be a in between content just for fun but they make it so hard when its not neccesary

There are also champs that have resistances without having immunities that can be useful. There is also the single immunity option, it's just a slower play. But a slower play is better than dying anyway. And the decay pool has 37 champs, most of which are usable. Stack your deck with your most annoying defenders and you best decay attackers and you probably only have a few spots left to fill with immunities.

It’s a god awful node. It does ruin Battlegrounds. I’m finally developing some skill and denying hits to enemies way more powerfull than my guys (before the defense bump) and I’m getting destroyed by this. I’ll end up getting all of the rewards but mostly from losses.

Don't lose heart, BG is the most competitive mode in the game, hard nodes, no revives, stacked opponent rosters who've spent thousands of dollars on the game with 30 sig 200 R3s, etc.
Play for the challenge, the learning opportunities, and like you said, you still get decent rewards even if you lose.

On the other hand, if losing matches takes an emotional toll on someone, and makes them hate the game, it's definitely not worth it. There are plenty of other modes in the game that are less stressful and humiliating to play.

Juggs can get some easy 50k point match ups at high rank, overseer is severly underated, once you get to poison phase w him its a ko if you stay under 2 bars of power and have a striker. You can stunlock anyone for 40 sec fight, and he may be the best enchantress counter for this meta, got multipule solos r3 vs r3.

R3 Red Hulk is one of my go-to options for this meta. He is both incinerate and poison immune and ramps faster when he gets an incienrate/poison on him.

Decay champs are not taking hazard shift damage. Like photon , overseer, hulk

I think people would have a lot easier time in this meta if they stopped putting decay champs on defense and use sugar pill as attackers? I faced many opponents struggling in VT despite having a very strong roster due to this exact reason.

Protip: You don't need dual immune, just don't hit during the wrong phase, if you can't draft 2 or 3 good attackers with at least one immunity, let alone meta, your roster is not where it needs to be.

High health on your attacker wins matches more than ever this season, it's not a nuke meta so don't try, unless its silk or spam, they are awesomer than usual.

But, I don't like AW garbage infiltrating other game modes and the tags are just dumb for some champs.

Not my favorite meta at all but we all face the same nodes so try and play smarter, not harder.

Completely agree about the metas. Decay / Sugar has run its course. And we still have other random events for secutor running at the same time. And there’s a deathless saga tag now as well. Chill, Kabam.
