Facing magic in arena is still annoying her healing the damage with limbo is annoying but her limbo damage is the real problem cause it’s really high. Now imagine facing her in bags taking unavoidable damage and taking longer to defeat cause of limbo healing.
Because her and quake in current state is op because magik can keep them power locked hesl from limbo and gain power even if they have 0 bars if sp2 is used before they hit a bar which is op as hell
Idk at this point there are champs immune to concussion or disables evade (ignores quakes evade) and champs immune to power manipulation (ignoring Magiks control) so I think it’s wouldn’t break the game. IMO Serpent is more broken than either of these champs, ignore death, unblockable and undexable (not a word but you get it)

Kabams fear of Quake makes sense. It does not with Magik.

Idk how magik is remotely insane there are manyDefenders who she can't work. We have champs like pun99 who can nuke opponent before they launch a single special and he isn't op. Her defensive abilities suck but there are many champs who can counter her.
They both have unavoidable DOT. That's why they are not available as a 6*. Imagine 7* Magic and her limbo damage. No one is immune to that
It's not just the Limbo. It's the whole package. She's also capable of a Power loop that can prevent the Opponent from ever using a Special.

Debuff Immunity giving nodes. You could say the same thing about Quake, or Herc, or every champ that’s ever been nerfed. The problem is if you allowed all of them to remain, that list gets very long and eventually all future content has to have a gigantic list of defusing abilities for all troublesome champs, which is ridiculous. It is a kind of game design symmetry to say that every nerf has a contrapositive buff and vice versa. You can nerf a champ or you can buff everything else. You can change a troublesome champ or you can change everything else around it to neutralize its troublesome aspects. You can withhold a champ, or make sure it can’t use its strengths in the game. Problematic champs aren’t champs that can beat everything. They just have to beat enough easily enough that the devs have to spend the rest of the games’ existence constantly worried about them. At that point, you neutralize the source of the problem, you don’t invent hundreds of design rules to accommodate the problems you chose to ignore.
There are nearly 300 champs in this game now and people are still crowing about 2 champs from 2015 and 2016. It's time to let them go guys.

People don't want them released as higher rarities because they are cool characters, they want them because they want to cheese content with them again like they did back in the day (I appreciate quaking requires skill but it's still a cheese). We'll have the same requests with herc in a few years.Kabam has determined that they are too op to be released. If they want to redesign them for a 7* release then that would be awesome, but you'd still have plenty of people unhappy that they were "nerfed" as they won't be as they were.

In a world of 7r3 champs (climbing toward 7r4) what does an ascended 6r5 Magik really trivialize? It can’t be lane content in story mode, because that has already been scaled. It can’t be major bosses, because they have built-in immunities. Even for individual matchups, there are so many skill champs with ability reduction, heal blockers, and science champs that it’s not a war or BG issue.
