They already announced he will be getting buffed. And said they’d provide more information when they’re closer to releasing him. I’m still asking for an update because there’s been 0 transparency or communication

We may be "closer" to his update, but we still aren't close. He's the first champ in their ridiculous new twice per year cadence. We likely aren't seeing his update until around June, so we probably won't get an update on it until around May, if even that early.

It’s June or July.

This is what i mean about the big stack as its i think 6 buffs they are waiting on i believe

Good lord. He was released in July of 2024 and now won’t be buffed until an entire year later? How did they think this new system was a good idea at all

Actually it's very clear:

Kabam changed the cadence of producing buffs, as announced here:

They're going to work on them in batches.

And right now, Patriot is the only one in his batch: since the announcement of Patriot needing rebalanced, Kabam has reviewed Enchantress, Beta Ray Bill and Leader. All these champs are equally balanced *cough*Leader???*cough* so no other champs are ready to go into Patriot's 'batch'.

Basically I wouldn't expect Kabam to be doing any work at all on Patriot, until there's at least one or preferably two more candidates to be worked on.

Up-coming balance reviews are:

Count Nefaria (does have some odd interactions with champion abilities, as well as nodes that inflict Power Lock, but apart from that, probably balanced)
Shathra (probably balanced)
Scream (probably balanced)
Jack O Lantern (probably balanced)
Spiral (???)
Dazzler (???)

So my guess is, unless they announce that they've finally reviewed the Deathless champions and are going to re-tune Deathless Vision, we're going to be waiting a while until they get around to Patriot.

No, he is getting a complete overhaul which takes the place of a new champion during a month. This means he gets a completely new kit with flashy new animations as well as a 7* release in the Titan.

It's allows them more time to focus on the buff and make sure they're worth it whilst also not putting as much pressure on the character designers
