Supposedly 'epic' is the American pronunciation and 'eepock' is the British. I've only ever heard 'eepock' and I'm from the USA, so I'm not sure who's using the other.

In portuguese Epoch is Época (É as e from Bed, po as po from Tempo, Ca as Ca from Carlos)

Epic is Épico (É as e from Bed, pi as pi from Pitbull, Co as Co from Codename)

I know in Britain they have a different accent ,but, to say Epoch as Epic I dont think so...
