I heard about the latest iPhone heating up as well so this isn't about hardware anymore but it's better to have more data for better conclusion

It's pointless to buy the latest phone if the heating issue is prevalent among the latest android and iOS devices

The heating issue doesn't happen with other games running 60 fps, only this game for me

If you are playing other games, share your experience as well

iPhone 13 and no problems. Though the longest time I play at one time is like an hour so if you’re playing for 6 hours at once it’s obviously gonna get hot.

I am playing at 30 FPS

    I am using SD 8 Gen 3-One Plus 13R
Last year, It was SD 8 Gen 2-One plus 12R

    Never faced heating issues

I believe most of the SD chipsets especially after 7 Gen are very well optimized. Same goes for MDTK 8100 and above ones.

Now phones material also matters. Whether it have plastic back, metal back.

And IOS have their own problems which i can't comment exactly.

Yes after about 20 mins of gameplay phone becomes so much hot that everything starts lagging incredibly. I need to get out of the game and wait for like 10 minutes then go back in to resume. It’s really very irritating and been the case since 1 or 2 months now. iPhone 12 here 60 fps

No I don’t play plugged in ever. I’m particularly having this heating issue badly and this is since last 1 to 2 months. And when it heats up the phone gets so slow. If I go out of game even the normal phone work also lags. So I just let it rest for some time. Also loads of battery consumption.

iPhone 13 Pro Max; it doesn’t heat up but the game will start lagging or having issues if I play arena for too long. At which point I restart and the problem goes away.

    For both of you.
You just transferred from either the android or iPhone to new device?

    Was not a new install?
