Battlegrounds Season 27

Greetings Summoners!

OVERVIEW

• Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a ride on the DARK side as Season 27 begins. This will be the first of two seasons within the Dark Phoenix Saga.
  
• If you can make it far enough, we’re rewarding players with a few special rewards: Light Essence and Dark Plume will be used towards obtaining two new champions
  • Light Essence is traded at the feature store for Lumatrix.
    
  • Dark Plume is a gate restriction reward that can be used in the Phoenix Rising quest to obtain a 7-Star Phoenix.
    
• Per the new norm, we have two new buff meta's to play throughout the season. The pre-season will feature the second half of the buff profile for the Gladiator Circuit.
  But wait, there's more! For this season, we tweaked scoring to award more points to those who can take down opponents fastest. Heres how it will work:
  • Normal Scoring (max points)
    • Defender HP Remaining = 30000
      
    • Attacker HP Remaining = 15000
      
    • Fight Duration = 10000
      
  • This season's scoring (max points)
    • Defender HP Remaining = 30000
      
    • Attacker HP Remaining = 15000
      
    • Fight Duration = 15000
      
  
  
• UPDATE: Based on Summoner feedback, scoring will not change for Season 27. For further details, check out this post!
  
• Additionally, we’re happy to announce an additive reward change to the Victory Track for Season 27 which is a piece of a larger game mode update we’re looking to do this year.

• 1x Light Essence when you reach the Gladiator Circuit
  
• 1x Light Essence when you reach Celestial 5
  
• 3x Light Essence when you reach Celestial 4

• 6x Light Essence when you reach Celestial 2
  
• 12x Light Essence when you reach Celestial 1
  

Where Dark Plume can be found:

• 10x Dark Plume when you reach the Gladiator Circuit
  

Upon completing Vibranium 1 and reaching the Gladiators Circuit, you will receive:

• Gwenpool Fist Pump
