No shame in my mediocrity- especially if I can help someone at my skill level.

This my squad and results from completing The Ordeal:

Chee’ilth - Rank 3, Awakened (20 Signature Level)

Overseer - Rank 2, Awakened (20 Signature Level)

Nefaria - Rank 2, Awakened (20 Signature Level)

Venom - Rank 2, Unawakened

Shuri - Rank 3, Awakened (40 Signature Level)

Doom - Chee’ilth - 1 shot
Terrax - Nefaria - 1 shot
Vision - Overseer - 5 revives
Modok - Overseer/Chee’ilth - 2 revives
Spam - Venom - 8 revives
WeaponX - Shuri - 1 revive
Thing - Chee’ilth - 1 revive
Korg - Nefaria/Overseer - 12 revives
Dragonman - Nefaria/Overseer - 5 revives
BPCW - Chee’ilth - 7 revives
Nightcrawler - Venom - 3 revives
Spidergwen - Venom - 1 shot
Domino - Shuri - 3 revives
Mojo - Nefaria - 1 revive

Spam and Korg fight were the worst for me.
I was most anxious about the BPCW fight but it wasn’t too bad.

MVPs were Che’ilth (super underrated and probably my favorite champion right now) and Nefaria (I don’t play him correctly but his performance on the Terrax fight and his ability to regenerate with Special 1s made him very helpful).

Feel free to ask questions or make fun of me. I know I suck comparatively.

    Got a dupe on my Overseer - which I’m honestly not too mad about.

    And Shathra - she seems fun but I just started playing around with her mechanics. I love throwing multiple specials though.

    As for Nefaria - I don’t know what it is about him but he’s just really fluid and fun to play. I know for me that Special 1 regeneration makes him instantly a compelling champion for my roster.

    Special 1s all day every day - super fluid because Doom’s Aura doesn’t work against her Buff (I forget what it’s called but the one she gets from her special 1).

    I think it's grit, basically a passive version of a slow debuff.
    And yes, she's also becoming one of my favorites.
    I only ranked her up to use on a couple of Necro fights recently, but should've been using her a lot earlier.

    Yep - that’s it. Didn’t realize how great Grit was but man - it helps with Thing, Jessica Jones, Doom, Rintrah, tons on crazy nodes.

    And also - I don’t play her like the experts. I found it too stressful to try and keep up her bleeds so I just play her like a better version of Hit Monkey. M,L,M - spam Special one, a heavy every now and then. Easy fight, easy life.

    Thanks - I just wanted to help people who are Valliant realize what a probably 4/5 out of 10 level player would do.

    I mean, I’ve basically completed all the content in the game but man oh man… it’s way more difficult for me to do it than the MSDs of the world.

    But players like Lagacy and MSD are Kobe and LeBron.

    I’m more of an Austin Reaves. Maybe I can be an all star and one shot a couple of opponents but I’m not consistently legendary.

    I love it when the mid tier players do this, it shows everybody that not everybody is meant to solo everything like the MSD's, Swedeah's, Fintech's etc.. of the game.
    No shame in reviving a bunch, that's what they're there for!

    This is so f**kin true!!! I've been procrastinating doing it for that exact reason. Who cares how many resources anyone might use. Bottom line is, you got it done. So... big congrats

    I just tried my R2 Chee and got Doom down easily too.
    I still have to figure out the rest of my roster but this is great because all the "experts" were saying you need an XL champ like Onslaught or Overseer, neither of whom I have, and I really didn't want to waste a spot on someone like Hulk just for one fight.

    And as far as the youtubers, the ones I like watching are modest tutorial style channels like simula and voorhees. No issue with people like MSD and others doing their show-off thing, but to me it's just a casual mobile game, not the world series of poker or the olympics.
    I remember I used to be really good at Infinity Blade and then one day the game just disappeared. That was a reality check I always keep in the back of my mind with MCOC.

    5 + 2 + 8 + 1 + 1 + 12 + 5 + 7 + 3 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 15 = 71

    The total number of revives is 71

    I guess I am less than a mediocre valiant, I tried and could not 1 shot doom with Hulk/sinister. It seems I would need at least 100 revives

    Chee’ilth is like the perfect counter for him. Don’t beat yourself up. I probably wouldn’t be able to one shot Doom without her.

    Man… one session. I didn’t time it but I’d say a good 3 hours, maybe even 4.

    I took my time with each fight and “tried” to plan them out before I went in - with varying success.

    Korg was super annoying for me as well. I was wondering if Shuri would work for him - nope, all the damage into my block took her out quickly. Took me 7'ish revives with Onslaught, a champion most player use to solo Korg.

    I agree on Chee'ilth. Great champion, and the way they do her animations so that the axe hits feel impactful is great. Really makes me feel like I'm swinging a hefty axe, as opposed to how weightless The Serpent's giant axe gets swung around.

    Congrats on Shathra. Such a fun champion. Similar to Chee'ilth, Shathra's heavy has a huge reach.

    The Korg fight - to anyone reading this - beware. Even with a good counter like Onslaught @altavista gave some insight into how difficult it is.
