Is it worth doing this challenge without Wong? Has anybody done it without him and how much more expensive was it?

I did it without Wong and it wasn't too bad! I took Chee, Photon, Adam W, Vox, and Wiccan.

Chee, Adam, and Wiccan were all MVPs. Photon did good work. Vox was unneeded. You might be better taking Ham instead of Vox or Sentry if you can ramp him.

You can use 6* wong as well and it would be cheaper than no wong run

I did it with Sentry. It was my first Necro run and he was amazing. Several fights were done in 3 minutes after I ramped him up on Sauron.

Do you have a write-up of sorts? Like team, who you used for each fight and how many resources it took?

Short answer is yes, it is perfectly find doing it without Wong.

Players skills vary, so even though Wong can technically solo a defender, each player might not be able to do so (or might not want to practice).

For what its worth, my team was 7R3 Chee'ilth, Ironheart, Vox, and 7R2 Wiccan, and 6R5A Wong, and it took me ~20 revives on the Titania/Guardian paths (I took Guardian instead of Apoc path because I like using Vox). [Plus health potions; although I remember feeling super impressed by Vox solo'ing Cap Sam even though I started with <10% health]

I technically did bring Wong, but I didn't really use him. I tried him out on the Wiccan fight, found him to have great survivability but couldn't handle maintaining Wong's playstyle and trying to push Wiccan to SP2), so I never revived him. I'm just more comfortable with the other champion's playstyles. The other champions got solos or were able to take the defender out in 1-4 revives.
