Heavily battlegrounds focused, would love all of these but now I have to make a decision

I’ve been wanting Photon awakened for ages but idk if I should go for a dupe especially since I haven’t picked up the generic awakening from epoch and I’m close to a gem

Shocker and Medusa I’ve wanted for ages too and I can’t decide

Went with medusa as I had a rant last year bout how expensive it cost to get the key if you didn't get the champ you wanted after the first 3 tries.

Im so happy I finally got her. INSTANTLY WENT TO R3 and awakened with the glorious guardian gem and sig stones.
Thank God I didn't do a pity rank up and give everything to BPCW

Also, to answer your question, if you're BG focused, medusa/photon would do the best for you.
I personally would go with medusa as she's a wayy better attacker than photon is in war, questing etc.
Also, medusa is only available in this selector.
Photon and shocker are both in the base pool (i pulled shocker when I did a massive opening last banquet and he's r3 and gets occasional uses out of me in battlegrounds and war).
Finally, why would you use this RARE chance on a dupe?? Just seems like a waste, you should use it to get your most wanted champ. A chance to awaken photon will come eventually.
I'd say go with medusa, she's also dual threat.

Telling you this… I got Medusa at Christmas and she is an AMAZING champion. Basically no robot has a chance. But beyond that, she is extremely hard hitting with any champion that can be armor shattered (pro tip: special 3 immediately imposes an armor shatter even when champions are armor break immune).

You really can’t go wrong but as an owner of Medusa - she is absolutely worthy unawakened.

Agree on not taking a dupe. It’s so much harder to get a champ one time.

I think Shocker is equal to any of these champs for BGs, with the exception of Photon who is a better defender.

Medusa is awesome and I have one at r3. But she has to gain buffs and apply debuffs to be effective. Lots of metas will screw with her as an attacker. Shocker is remarkably unbothered by a lot of metas. Unless it’s safeguard, crit me, or something that prevents you from gaining power, he will do his thing.

I’ve been chasing shocker since he released too, but you won’t be disappointed if you go Medusa. Plus it’s your only guaranteed chance to get her unless they change things down the road. Mine is R3 and I use her all the time.

Those were the only 2 I missed from the holiday crystals. No clue if they’ll ever be release elsewhere so leaning towards DPx.

Think that was the right call. I’m leaning toward DPX for my choice. Already lucky to have Medusa awakened at R3. I’m still contemplating the R3 mats or R4 mats or Shocker. Just don’t know if/when DPX will become available again.
