Necropolis exploration

I am sure there are still some summoners ( like me ) who have yet to fully explore necropolis

so what do you think are best teams for odin and jubilee paths?

help me out please!!

I want to explore Necro too but all the Guides available on YT are old. There have been so many new champs, Buffs since then...

im on my final path for necroplis exploration (red goblin) and ive used some more modern champs in my run. For the jubilee path i used Count nefaria as he cheeses both jubilee and makes an absolute joke out of the diablo fight, way better than void. i did also ramp up aegon just to make my time fighting grandmaster easier so used him for ibom and the more frustating spiderman 2099 and silver centurion. but G2099 works well here. an absolute must though for the jubilee path is Onslaught, in the second half of the path we have the most frustating miss node if you don't get a 5 hit combo making stryfe, galan and spot horrible fights. Onslaught bypassess miss so made those fights a joke.

As for the Odin path Onslaught again, the reverse controls can be frustating but the nice thing with onslaught is that you can parry heavy for his rotation and don't need to really rely on basic hits. hope this helps

I used Aegon for exploration.
Definitely not a cheap option but headache free option tho. Easy and simple. Just have 30-50 revives and you're good to go

Imo you should definitely do the Mantis path, anyone can take Mantis, Deathless Thanos eats FAM alive since he has that Armor shatter, and Guilly can just take Kitty Pryde without much trouble (I'd refer you to MSD's video of his solo against Kitty Pryde as reference).

Other than that, the rest of the path should be fine, except for Sandman since you don't really have a counter for his unstoppable when he goes unstable, so you might just have to brute force it with either Sinister or Thanos (whichever you prefer to use once you try that fight with the path nodes)

Btw, good luck on your exploration, I happened to finish exploring it 2 weeks ago, so I'll make an obvious and maybe moot observation that it was way more manageable than it was when it dropped (from what I've seen from past livestreams) due to more modern champs like Onslaught and Deathless Thanos being able to wipe the floor with some of the more difficult paths, and especially because of the drastic rank differences, R4s like your Deathless Thanos are gonna make it a breeze for you I'm sure!

I will also recommend Onslaught for the reverse controls path like what Ibby said (Especially because he took almost half of the lane for me by taking Odin, Squirrel Girl, Spidey 99 and Sunspot), once you get his Degens going, you can play it safe the entire fight and do parry-heavy or heavy punishes for special attacks.

Though for BWCV, I'd recommend Kushala since she makes it so much more easier since she can block unblockable attacks and mitigate the block damage through her regen on the block (Though if you're planning on bringing Kushala, you may as well use her for Odin too).
Kushala is also quite handy as a backup option for Shang-Chi as well since you can freely use the MLLM combo (Unblockable Wu-shu strike) as she can simply block the unblockable attacks.

I do see you have a R4 Sinister though, so If you want, you can test him on the path since he takes Shang-Chi quite well and you know how reverse controls immunity is great there (though if you bring Sinister, I don't really think you need Juggs for the reverse controls immunity anymore in the Grandmaster fight, but if you think you have your team there with 1 spare slot, you can still put him in)

as for the reverse controls I will probably go with these kushala onslaught sinister thanos juggs all rank 3 at the very least

juggs makes GM very easy also good for mystic spidey that’s why I like to bring him

Sorry to necro this thread, but I’m about to attempt the right side to finish up exploring necro myself. I think I have a team in mind, but the only thing giving me pause is sandman. I have Kate bishop, so I could just bring her, but what seven star champ would handle sandman? Or should I just nut up and Kate it lol

also she’s pretty good for spidey 2099

will work for spidey but not for sandman

you need unstoppable counter or debuff counter for sandman
