New war format - Attuma has no counter on the regen node

So you need a hard heal blocking champ that has non contact attacks - there is none.

Warlock just died to thorn dmg.

I used Nefaria. Once you ramp him up he’s immune to Thorns damage and he’s probably second best regeneration counter (awakened) next to the Leader in the game.

Sometimes the game is weird about stuff like that. Lion Heart for instance does not let you lower regen rate through Petrify and Spectre. But Torch can do it just fine. So can Despair

That’s a bug, then.
Nefaria should not be able to do that fight.
We have a video of my alliance mate having 30 active shocks with Shuri with despair 3/3 and attuma is healing away at the same rate nonetheless- as he should according to his abilities.

Iron man IW heal blocks 16” with sp1 if opponent has regen and MLLLL combos only 1st and 3rd light make contact (2/5).
Sp1 shock also helps lower hydration charges

He has a long healblock - duped over 30 secs
He takes less thorn dmg with each analysis charge
He has regen on sp3
And with wags he can parry

So theoretically he’s a counter, but that remains to be tested.

Everyone else other people suggested (nefaria 🙄), I call bullocks.

I already did l, but the one who asks for help then questions the advice given. Yes, Nefaria does not have heal block, but he doesn’t need to have it. His signature ability when awakened prevents the defender from regenerating and reverses it thus gaining charges while doing it from the node. And like I already told you he counters thorns when ramped up.

I think what OP is trying to ask is whether or not that should be happening. Attuma cannot have his regen rate reduced. So how is Befaria doing it?

idk why people are disagreeing with the Nefaria statement, it’s good to know that he DOES do it but the question is SHOULD he be, no one wants a bugged counter which’ll just be patched out

I face a Lady D today in that node and her regen rate cannot be reduced so i can confirm that Photon or Nefaria dont work if defender is immune to regen modification.

Apart from Warlock can any other champ that heals blocks do the fight?
