How does Kabam know

What game mode people really like to play when each mode has a different currency and rewards? Ik they're making a push to make radiance in every game mode but realistically it should be the only currency. That way they can really know what people like to play. If the rewards are different for each game mode then they only know what rewards people like not what they enjoy playing. They are forcing people to play certain game modes based on rewards. For example I play BGs a good amount of my overall playing time but only because I have to in order to get the games best rewards. If I could get those same rewards in a different game mode I would never play BGs. I think this would lead to them focusing more on what people enjoy playing because I can tell you BGs will never be it. The amount of time it takes to play BGs is not conducive to the average person's mobile game time experience. Most people play in short spurts when they have time or dedicate a certain part of the day to playing which can't be consumed by one game mode particularly when there's a possibility that they can have have absolutely no progress in that time. An alliance mate who happens to be our best player once said "I don't want to spend the only time I have playing getting my ass kicked". To me that statement says all that needs to be said about BGs. There might be some surprises in what game modes people actually like if they were to ever do that.

That is precisely why they have different currencies. To "direct" players to different modes as they desire. And make it harder to accumulate enough currency to get the different champs and items. Multiple chases.

They literally have data of who plays what, it's not just based on rewards

But those numbers are erroneous because of the rewards setup. Why would you play a game mode with bad rewards regardless of how much you like it? You can force people to play a mode they don't like for only so long before you force them out of the game.

News flash, if rewards are that bad, people aren't playing the mode. Another news flash, regardless of how good the rewards are, if the mode stinks, people also won't play it.

My dude has forgotten that some people just play the game for fun and dont care about watching big numbers get bigger or even heard of the meta.

But... you're talking about how they know which content people play and I'm telling you they know because they have the direct data showing which content people play. They've explicitly said that they included the incursions 7 star crystal and it didn't increase the amount of people playing incursions because they have the data of how many people play that mode
