War is simple, check the defender, check the nodes, discuss best strategy with your alliance. Old saga or new saga is the same process.

1. being a "saga" champions boost the boost charges in this new map (dmg multipliers) by 2x, so when kabam changed the saga randomly mid sszn, most of the saga champs you would have used will have timed out when they would have done the fight in 3-4 mins with saga
2. there are like 5 good saga champs, so you really cannot rely on new saga
3. kabam said nothing about this. they just randomly changed it mid war and did not tell anybody. this greatly impacted those who hadnt completed war, as it made them do way less dmg and lose attack bonuses from it.
stop hating on this man if you guys do not understand the context. I 100% agree that this was super dumb and there wasnt even a post from kabam.

People understand it. It's just this dude complains about war every week so we no longer really care. He even complained when this map was released saying it will be too easy lol. Guess that didn't last long.

Also. You don't need to even use saga champs. Yes, they give you an attack boost if you do but it's not nessecary in the slightest. Especially the way the force charges scale attack, any champ that compliments the node works.

Did you ever stop to think that Kabam chose this moment to do a single season of the new map specifically because the sagas were set to switch mid-season and it would have been a lot more cumbersome if it switched during the regular AW map?

as a t1 player, we have had 8 timeouts this war, we usually averaged 2 before the saga flipped. this is from the saga. if the opponent has a hard defense, you will have some time outs.

You don't inherently time out from not using a saga champ. And if it still takes you 3-4 minutes to do a fight with a saga champ, then you probably don't have a good counter.

There's more than 5 good champs in the saga.

The dates for the new sagas are always communicated. Whether in the middle of season or not, the change was known to be coming. Probably why some started asking about it before the change actually happened. It's not a random change.

except for the fact that you do need saga. some of these defensive placements are major stall options. I timed out to onslaught node 8 today with shocker and had no chance to solo, because he was not tactic and we had nobody with bastion. essentially, if your bg doesnt have the saga champs you are cooked
