Chavez if you play slowly enough can keep serpent under a bar of power, but it is difficult without an external power gain.

In the VT meta, I had a lot of success with using Purgatory for serpent.

Honestly, I love this meta so far its actually so fun. Probably cos i don't push BG'S that much. Its Honestly, reach GC, get my radiance and dip but im actually playing this meta for fun and im enjoying every part of it. Even when I finish with 0 points total 😭

Its the most 100% health finishes I've gotten. Valk, Kate, Hulkling and shocker my offensive MVPs so far and korg, bishop, bullseye and zola my defensive MVPs.

Love this meta. Tired of nonsense powergain (including this energize one)

No not a “newbie”.
I just can’t say that i personally have experienced “pausing” to be detrimental battlegrounds.
I have experienced it (very rarely),..but not resulting in a loss.
