Please help me with deciding how to use my units

Minnow (spend some but not much annually)

Moderate roster (2 Rank 4s; 20 Rank 3s; 22 Rank 2s)

Moderate skill (consistently rank in Gamma or Arcane tiers in BGs, most content done - all story except 6.4, all endgame except fully exploring Necroplis & Epoch of Pain, haven’t started Wheel of Fate yet)

I have about 7k units.

Please assist me with options. I don’t have any pressing needs in the game but obviously I would say that getting more rank ups will help the most - especially if there is a new progression title at some point (which I presume would have some requirement for owning X number of Rank 4s).

So - here are my options below.

Please let me know what you think would be best and any advice - especially if you think I should do content and you are aware of excellent tutorials, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Just to give you a general idea of my ability - I spent about 3k units on my initial path of Epoch of Pain. Granted - I did it on the first week and didn’t have a real plan with the boss. In retrospect, with tutorials, I probably could have completed it for 1.5k units but please understand - I’m nowhere in the class of skilled YouTubers like KT1 or MSD. I’m honestly not sure if I could fully explore either Necropolis or Epoch with my current unit stash but I’m willing to try unless it’s wiser to just save up until November or December.

I would say wait to see that kind of offer is available for July 4th deals before doing anything. If the offer isn't to you liking than you can do something else. It's like a week or two away.

You should keep saving, grinding units in arenas and building your roster for exploring Epoch of pain or spending in banquet

I’d save to see the July fourth deals but in the meantime plan out your epoch runs. Normally the best value from the deals come with the highest unit prices, which 7000 won’t reach. But you never know. There could be something of really good value.
In the likelihood there isn’t, use the unit to explore epoch. Definitely the best accessible rewards right now, and ares gets a lot easier every time you fight him.

Save your units for banquet or cyber weekend and patiently build up your stash of potions and revives for quest content. At this stage in game, you shouldn't be spending units on quest content.

Slowly build your revive stash and do content at your own pace. Ignore 100% necro atm.
100% Epoch is better and you can do it 1 path a month with apothecary and DSE revives.

Spend units in one offer during j4th as the offers are great in value. Save the remaining units.
Get 1k unit EQ bundle when you think its time, and make use of those 30% boosts smartly.

Shoot for cyber… get on an arena schedule you can handle - don’t get hung up on hitting every milestone .

Sounds like we are similar in account size, skill, and spending. You can get a good chunk of units for cyber… if the deals don’t look like what you want, just pass until the next one. That’s what I did and I as result am going to max out HOF and July 4th this year (if I want).

I chose not to explore epoch. I know it will cost me units AND I didn’t enjoy my first run. So i will just put those units on sales. I occasionally high unit spend on content (deathless) but not every time. Don’t get hung up chasing content for rank ups with unit spend. Depreciation works in your favor. Rare champs is where I justify unit spend more…
