Can we Pretty Please get some Realm Event Clarification?

People are clearly confused and lighting up the forums on whether this event is farmable or not, and if FTP can get the top milestone at 285K.

For me personally, I wasn't in a "serious" alliance before the event started, so I am now missing out on a large chunk of points this week that may or may not (again, no clarification so far) make the difference between the final 7* selector and a full T7 basic. If this IS this case, there was zero communication that we would need to be doing raids to max out the upcoming realm event, and I even watched the livestream. The only points mentioned were in solo content.

If there is no way to farm points (which seems likely at this point with all info we've had to scrape together) then I lost out on the max rewards before the event even began because of near zero communication from the team.

Can we just get some clarity on this event so I know whether to be disappointed or not?

    It’s more so the uncertainly of how many objectives the August event will have or if the twitch drop 2500 is per drop you claim or if it’s a one time get. More so why they even used twitch drop as a point get when they have yet to fully work for a given stream and the July stream was 6 days before realm event even went live and anyone who got the drops claimed well before
    ooh fair enough. Also just checked and it turns out you can get points for purchasing through summoner market. Hopefully there is some leeway points.

    looks to me you can get roughly 180k points with the available options to aquire them, the rest is clear now you will be getting with purchases, online store unit deals have set ammounts of points with each, {added a few screen caps}

    seems that payers will be spending big to try and get the new title and rank 1 rewards, I guess we could not expect anything for nothing .
    no other bundles "currently" have any summer fest points with purchase but we have several months to see how kabam will dig into people pockets to get them to spend to get the rest of the points needed.

    Is that with doing nightmare raids? If so, I'm very disappointed as my alliance didn't sign up for nightmare raids, but we would have had this info been supplied before.
    It requires raids in general, there is like a 15k point buffer, and you'll lose just 15k points for doing normal raids all 5 times. That does mean you'll have to do everything else though.

    I highly doubt it. Those who get those likely got an extra 7.5k points to their name.

    Thanks for clarifying that getting top rank in this event is not possible without spending cash.

    I can confirm, I went to claim mine after he posted and got 6k points i think? 2K points per drop.

    I can confirm, I went to claim mine after he posted and got 6k points i think? 2K points per drop.

    Funny thing though, when I claimed it. It had an extra item that said 2000 in it. It wasn't just the pots, there were 2 icons there.
