Vox in cosmic aw showcase path causing degen

I was trying the cosmic aw showcase quest and the vox fight works differently. When you get the defender to 10 charges on the damage close node, you start taking the degen damage instead of the defender like the previous fights

    Think it should say attacker taking 0.5 damage

    Gorr later in the path has the same issue. It’s definitely bugged and seems very similar to the degen transfer node bug

    Ahhh. That explains why I suddenly died in both the Vox & Gorr fights despite having full health. Was wondering WTF happened...

    I completed the quest and this explains all. Only vox shows this behaviour. Lost a champ cu of this bug.

    I didn't hit it with vox but I'm stuck at gorr now with everyone dying due to the degen

    I quit out that Gorr fight. Can’t do it when bugs are unpredictable.

    Pretty sure Kingpin in the mutant/skill one is also degen bugged. Jean just melted when he was supposed to? Maybe? Who knows with all these bugs...

    Thanks for the heads up. I just did that fight and kept kingpin below 10 charges

    So the three main culprits so far (Vox, Kingpin, Gorr) all have degen in their base kits. The bugged damage on the end fight screen is classified as degen damage. Is there a relation here? I have no idea what code error lead to this since the fact it’s not happening every fight clearly means the node isn’t just completely borked, but I guess that’s the linking factor here.

    On that note actually, Dormammu also has degen in his base kit and the No Surrender node being bugged has already been established in his Eternity of Pain fight. Any chance these are somehow the same bug manifesting in different ways? Direct damage that’s supposed to be applying to the defender somehow being recognized as their base kit ability and thus pushed onto the attacker? Wouldn’t be the weirdest thing that’s happened. Code can be weird.

    It's true that you don't suffer from that if you keep stacks below 10, but that defeats the purpose of the node...every other champ (except ones mentioned in post) does not have this interaction.

    I completely agree. Kingpin is aggressive enough that it is easier to play aggressively. If I don't keep pounding on him, he backs me into a corner and the degenerate kills me anyway.

    My rank 2 Kushala blew him away before he could cause any problems for me … it was an 80 second fight for me … spam sp1

    Também aconteceu comigo contra Vox, degenerando assim que ele entra em dez cargas. Era pra ele sofrer o dano.

    So I’m confused, in the most recent post they made, did they say that there won’t be a fix for this until next update?

    Correct, though they do claim it is fixed in the showcase at least. Thankfully, it is avoidable, just need to keep the charges low. I managed to make it through against all the degen fights and honestly just played like normal and never had an issue. Just keep an eye on the charges and it's fine. Even if it were working, the degen damage doesn't make any must-have difference in the time it takes to get the fights down.
