This is easy as hell to get around. Instead of selling a 5* crystal, sell 10,000 5* crystal shards... Special 5* class specific crystal? Sell it in shards... Sell everything in shards. Problem solved. Hire me...just saved you tons of money on lawyers.

P.S. I have found an even more devious way to get around this. Not going to share it.

Huge difference between a Casino and the game.

Well... that's just stating the obvious.

But if your putting money into a game to get crystals, your still gambling on getting a good champ.

Instead of hoping for number 15 on roulette, your hoping for a feature from a crystal.

There's a difference between taking a "gamble" and actual Gambling. Gambling entails spending money for the possibility of money being payed out. There is no possibility of money being payed out with the game, or anything that belongs to us for that matter. Now, the grey area being discussed is with the literal definition "for money". However, that doesn't only apply to paying money into it. There has to be a return of some sort. Otherwise you're just paying to play a game of chance. It's an important distinction because no one owns or takes anything away from their Account. For all intensive purposes, the money is gone when we spend it, meaning it's not a returning investment. We're paying for permission to use their service.

Good lord, saying "for all intensive purposes" is like nails on a chalkboard. It's "for all intents and purposes"... You probably say "Irregardless", too.

Anyways, you are not correct on gambling, and I don't feel like explaining why with others saying the same explaination. There is a country in the EU looking to ban all "lootboxes" as microtransactions because it's a form of gambling. It was just in the news about a month ago. I am pretty sure that will set a nice precedent for you to abandon your argument.

*edit* It's Belgium. Found article. https://www.theverge.com/2017/12/19/16783136/loot-boxes-video-games-gambling-legal

The most hilarious thing of all is in that article it has large red text saying "What Happens Online Is, For All Intents and Purposes, Real"...what are the odds lol

For all intensive purposes is the common colloquial referral to the expression. I'm commenting, not publishing.
It really doesn't matter what they're looking to ban. The law states that it is not Gambling. It is not, by the very definition. Since the game is produced in Canada and affiliated in the U.S., those legislations are the ones we are discussing.

You know you're hungry for arguments when you bicker over expressions.

The pedantry being displayed over eggcorn like intensive purposes is hilariously funny considering people so freely shirk thier pedantry when it comes to the definition of gambling. Keep it up guys I’m laughing.

Kabam disclosing percentages can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned! I've pulled about 12 5* and 3 of them have been colossus!? I mean seriously, given the size of the pool now how is that even possible unless the rates are rigged against "good" champs?

Anyone else see results like these? I would've rather almost anyone, at least theyd serve a purpose in arena grind.

I wish they made everyone equal. But I don't think they are bad champions. They are champions that are less efficient than other champions

Disclosure of drop rates will not improve your pulls.

As long as it is not a 0% chance, you are technically able to pull 100 Colossus in a row.

We don't know what will come, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Sadly, this is how randomness works

That's correct. It's random. Not a system that removes what you pulled previously from the pool. It doesn't take any information in, for that matter. You open the Crystal and it accesses the same pool and generates a separate outcome each time. There aren't multiple algorithms based on how much you spend or what you pull before. Theoretically you could pull 10 Colossus in a row.
Conversely, I've never seen anyone upset because they pulled back-to-back Sparky. Lol.

I think Apple said the 1st of Jan not 💯 on that

No they didnt mate, date was 21st December, fixed

Plus, do Kabam sell loot boxes at all? These boxes contain a number of items, I cant think of anything like that in this game? You pull any crystal, you get what that crystal says, thats it. So pull a 4* one, you get a 4* champ. DRs wont say odds for each champ, as you get what the crystal says, one four-star champ

No wonder Kabam are just letting this thread run and run, must be quiet amusing to them

You're just choosing to mention the crystals that have 100% odds. We're not talking about those. The crystals that we're talking about are the ones like PHCs, where you are guaranteed at least a 2* but there is a CHANCE at a 3 or 4*. Or if you pay real, actual currency for a mutant or tech daily crystal from the unit store and you have a SLIGHTLY HIGHER CHANCE at a 3 or 4*. Those are the odds that Kabam may have to disclose. And there is no reason why they shouldn't, and no reason why you should be on their side in this discussion, other than perhaps you're doing it to be contrary.

Absolutely, I’ve been saying this for awhile now. There’s what 70-80 champs in the 5* crystal now yet it’s convenient that my last 10 out of 12 5* crystals have been **** champs, I know not every crystal is gonna be a home run but cmon now!

True, but randomness dictates that ever happening, so try again. Having only 2 choices(flipping a coin), you still wont get heads or tails 100 times in a row, no matter how many times you try, because...randomness

I was told by Customer Service that each item has a "Rarity/Value" attached to it. They were talking about Greater Gifting Crystals but I assume it is the same for hero crystals too. So since Colossus is worth far less to us he has a higher chance to drop then say a Ghost Rider who would be one of the rarest drops since it has a higher value attached to him.

In truth it does make sense to have it that way... I just wish they had a Pity feature that if you pull lowest tier champs a few pulls you are far more likely to get a top tier until you get one.

We will just have to wait and see what happens with this. No sense and worrying about it.... just keep playing and have fun ;) Or at least try to XD
