Joaquin Torres and Arnim Zola balance update

Joaquin is getting a tune up which will be coming in January, which is great but we will need to wait till 2026 for that buff.

Zola is not getting changed at all, which is what I expected. I think Zola is a tough yet fair defender similar to Photon. I do wish he disabled the Stand Your Ground mastery but whatever, it’s fine

Anyways, what would you like see changed with Joaquin Torres?

Honestly just give him a dmage boost, make him bypass miss and he’ll be overall a valuable enchantress counter, he just needs to keep up with spider woman

While this is unfortunate, at least there’s a chance that we will see at least two more buffs, like next month we are getting the rebalanced Patriot as well as buffed Yondu and Modok

Batch #1 is going to set the expectation. Hopefully they make them worth the wait.

Especially how so many science champs are being released (Spider Woman, High Evolutionary, etc)

Edison, can you give me a primer on how to deal with sentinel? I frequently see my 7r3* sentinel get spanked in BGs, and I don't know how people do it. When I fight him, I either use MLM combos - which end up taking so much time -- or he ramps up so fast that he hits 100 and I have to keep him on SP1 to avoid getting tagged by those massive incinerates.

First of all, don't block the SP2 if he's at 100. Analysis charges because his effects can hit right through block, including the heal blocks, armor breaks, and incinerates.
Secondly, Sentinel is immune to bleed, poison, coldsnap, frostbite, and armor break, but he is not immune to other sources of damage like shock, incinerate, rupture, degen, or even neuroshock. So you can use those against him as well

Again, the difference here lies in the fact that you don't need a counter for enchantress, but you do need one for bullseye , for serpent , for Yelena and soon to be high evolutionary etc. People have spots in their deck just for them whereas you can take enchantress with any science champ, and most high damage output nukes.

My point is the constant new releases/buffs of science champs are aimed at her, and not only counter her kit, but trivialize it entirely to the extent that Hulkling and Galan did to Peni. Meanwhile, with serpent or bullseye, you can still lose the match with a counter.

Im willing to bet Modok will also be able to counter her kit in 1 or more ways

Jean and Bastion gonna stay the same so if I could pick the TBD buff, I’d want Surfer or CapSam buffed. Both have great kits, just need more damage.
