BGs Brag Post

So I was just chilling, playing some BGs and waiting for a match to be found only to get jump-scared by the absolute unit of an account that is USAFA. And offcourse my immediate reaction was ~~"This sucks!"~~ "Let's play it anyways for the sportsmanship". Plus, it'll be a cool story of how I ran into the biggest MCOC account. But, what if the story got even cooler?

Now, am I saying I have a better account or I am way more skilled? No, absolutely not. I definitely had a lucky draft and got some matchups I was comfortable with. This could've easily gone sideways depending on draft rng alone.

This is not meant to offend anyone, whales or spenders, nor do I wanna start up the FTP vs spender drama, I just wanna share a fun achievement of mine. All respect to USAFA for being a solid player and youtuber. If anyone's wondering, my deck has 8 rank4s to USAFA's 30.

Spider-Woman has the craziest AI in the game, and coupled with her ensnare and other debuffs she can be a nightmare. I've seen a lot of good players get smoked using Bullseye on her, especially this meta when you can't punish her SP2.

And Silver Samurai kinda sucks from what I can tell, but I don't have him.

I think I've matched against two content creators. I managed to defeat Allison Edits, but got absolutely smoked by…I think it might have been MCOC Noob. Allison is significantly better at the game than me so I was happy with the win, but chatted with her afterwards and discovered that I mostly won because she was busy watching TV or something. Given her skill-level and my own, as well as which defenders she "chose" to put down, that kind of tracks. 🤣

But yeah, the other guy absolutely thrashed me. Good game on his part. I think it was MCOC Noob, but I'm not entirely sure. I remember it being a Youtuber, but it wasn't one I was hugely familiar with. In either case, I don't remember there being any kind of issue of unbalanced roster sizes or a poor draft on my part, he was just plain better than me.
