Shrugg off champs--agent venom..?

Um so my top champs dont have a lot of diversity...all my top champs are cosmics, techs and some mutants like jean grey and AA here and there. I need a wider range since I always end up getting stuck when certain quests that require skill/shrugg off. I just pulled Agent Venom and I was wondering whether he's worth investing as a shrugg off sinc3 he does have 70% chance to purify. Im also looking for decent damage and utility so I wanna know if he's worth it at all.

I would like to add the reason why im questioning ranking agent venom up is because i never see anyone use him in BG, he was released in 2014 i think and im not sure he's gotten any buffs or reworks

I'd recommend Crossbones or Kingpin over him.

Agent Venom kinda needs synergy to have any punching weight behind him. Crossbones just does that on his own.

Best to invest in Nick Fury after tactical charges shrugs off debuff, one of my personal fav is Kingpin and crossbones but i prefer kingpin but in game he is limited to 6* so for end game investment better to go with crossbones if you have him
