my only issue with the whole kit (including the synergies) is that he does not get undying, immortality, or even debuff resistance. Kind of weird unless his regeneration is really that strong but I’m struggling to see how.

There went the hope for something good for Blade. These synergies suck. I imagine those always suck now for the same reason so many other things are given up on or suck. Making them not suck is too hard for current Kabam.

yea I was hoping for some sort of great synergy with Blade. Definitely disappointing. Also thought Dracula having immortality or undying was a no brainer… but guess not 🤷🏽‍♂️… he still looks fun to play, even though I hate that his MD effects halved for some odd reason.

Most likely because he seems like a champion that is supposed to be flexible with his specials doing different things depending on what you need. If you're in a match with evade and you need the slow but keep getting rocketed up to sp2 hes gonna feel like garbage and reduced power gain will help him access what he needs

not gonna lie… I have some issues with the kit. He doesn’t benefit at all from modified damage, he can’t regen or sustain himself without actively using a special attack despite the fact that this ignores how gus dire degen works (like literally it’s a life drain that you have to boost) and he can ONLY steal fury buffs but the boost only lasts for the duration of specials… and his sig ability is TERRIBLE! And why is his Max health and AP not higher if his entire kit revolves around the stats from his base health and AP? He doesn’t have psychic shielding as a vampire, he isn’t coldsnap, frost, or shock immune, resistant, nor is it even referenced in the slightest but that he controls weather. He isn’t recoil mastery friendly, he has no undying, bla bla bla you get it. It just feels like the “4 out of 5 utility” is lackluster, the survivability for arguably the most enduring character of all time is needlessly lacking, that being said his offense should still be very good. But to me this kit feels like a “How can I do the bare minimum to pass the class” rather than “PRINCE OF DARKNESS!” Like even the SP3 being a bite to the enemy but it doesn’t give you ANY REGEN? NO BUFF STEAL? HOW? In what universe does a vampire bite you and not immediately become more threatening. Instead it just *checks notes RESETS THE DEGEN? Why?🧐 a better sig ability and SP3 in 6-8 months could make this all go a lot more smoothly but right now this feels like I’m being asked to buy pre buff Purgatory in big 2025

Every new champ that isn't meant to be an annoying defender has some headscratchers in their kit. Glaring holes but with weird abilities mushed in instead to color in arbitrary class lines that are super duper important except when they're ignored on a whim.

I’ll condense and focus my point since I didn’t properly seperate his genuine design flaws from just annoying things that he would have as a defender that he doesn’t have just because he’s an attacker.

His signature ability is blatantly bad. It does nothing to boost his core mechanic because his degen doesn’t get boosted by EITHER ability, his bleed damage will still be negligible without synergies and stealing fury’s.
It’s ridiculous to put hard damage caps on abilities that are already not going to be very strong in the first place. Especially when the sales pitch is “Hey guys! This champion is ALL 100% attack! No defensive viability at all, jusf good ole fashioned offensive powerhouse!”
He can’t actually hard counter any of the matchups that he’s being advertised for. To expound on this point, every single top tier cosmic has something in their kit that’s going to give Dracula a hard time on offense. Knull has reverse controls, regen modification, and even damaging debuffs that Dracula has no answers for (which he would if he were a defender because defenders have to be IRONCLAD). Dark Phoenix has constant power gain that Dracula can only “Manage” but not shut down as well as passive debuffs. Serpent has power gain, chip damage, immortality. Deathless Thanos explicitly has something about his sig ability that counters Dracula (don’t remember what but it’s literally stated in his comprehensive deep dive by daddy long legs on youtube) Dracula also will not be able to handle any AW, BG’s, or questing node where a defender comes with some kind of debuff like poison, bleed, incinerate, etc etc (or did we all just think that Dracula would be in realm of legends the whole time? HENCE why we double down on adding unnecessary buffs like undying just for good measure. Otherwise why would I take him off of the bench? Or pay for him beyond personal preference.
4. last but not least Dracula’s prestige/base stats are unsatisfactory because of the pure fact that ONLY his baseline stats are going to make a significant difference to how well he does. Not the masteries, AG, relics, or anything else. So for Dracula to have 90K health and 7600AP feels like we’re being punked. To essentuate this point I just discovered that a hypohypothetical 7 star Rank 6 Dracula has a 2x increase to his persistent degen bringing the total up to 845,000!!!! Mind you the current understanding is that the degen for our Dracula will do 345K over 11 minutes which we have to speed up (which is kind of cool but)… do you see the issue? When champions have health values in the millions and the only thing tbag the SP3 does is reset the life drain back to formula.

lagacy just brought up two more points. His bleeds are passive and therefore do not interact with deep wounds (including the Sig) and 2. His damage increase when armor broken won’t work against inequity.
