New BGs Meta Question

Does anyone know if cleanse also triggers the purify benefit? I haven't drafted my cleanse champs so not sure if it works.

every item in the list of active buffs mentions attackers only, so you have to assume it does not apply to defenders

I mean on attack. I'm considering ranking up jabari or chee'ilth but if they don't gain the benefit from the attacking meta, I may save the resources for the next titan pool

Yes, I can confirm that Cleanse also benefits from the node
