They definitely made the point values too close. Crazy how many opportunities to farm have come up since they eliminated the solo event to help prevent farming.

4 wins a day in lower VC coupled with multiple forfeits to keep you in VC nets some pretty awesome rewards.

Probably unintended language, which has happened on many events as of late. They were probably thinking further down the road to the changes to elders marks. My guess is this is bad text they didn't pay attention to and they probably had no intention of giving more points for elders marks use.

Yeah it’s a lot of wins at just 70 points in VT one would need 71 WINS just to hit 5k points (not possible of course),..leads me to believe that the language of bonus for using elder marks was intentional.

Especially because they text the words BONUS in caps and exclamation marks after Elder marks!! 😂

You don't have to forfeit to farm points. Losses in GC count almost as much as wins in VT. Just play regularly and I'm sure the losses will come naturally. It's not a big deal either way, if you play enough you'll hit all the milestones. It won't be hard.

Thats what Im doing, takes about 3 and a half minutes to finish a match if you get an opponent that doesnt take five years to pick their defenders. Got over 40 energy refills and it only takes about 48-50 to reach 5k points by just losing. This isn't even taking into account the NPC whales that will forfeit instantly to farm the low level players.

yeah i’m getting so much lag every BG match anyway it’s sickening.

May as well just do it like this,..just have to remember to dex once ‘cause if you get hit instantly with a 2 stars the gane disconnects lol.

Well this is a meta where unascended 6* cleanse champs can put up 50k scores against 7R4 Onslaughts and Deathless Thanoses.

So if someone is resorting to filling their deck with 2 stars just to get some points, that says a lot about them.

Kabam literally designed this anniversary VT meta so that anyone with basic skills can do well.

Played a regular match, guy literally timed out on both fights. Wasted 240 seconds when the 2 star deck method only takes 12 seconds for both fights combined. Yeah I'm not wasting my time, it's not about winning, its about farming points as quick as possible.

I won my first 2 Bg matches honestly,..but then who cares.

Victory track is a short run starting from diamond, and then imagine the matchmaking times in GC where you have to wait a minuet or more to even get a match?

Pffft,…forget all that,..and Kabams game is seriously messed anyways,..the amount of game freezing and lagbright off the hop at the start of a bg match RN is disgusting,…so you do it your way and i’ll do it mine.

Nowhere in the TOS does it say i can’t use my wonderful 2 stars in BG’s

Bro, if it makes you happy, go for it. Heck, try to get #1 in the rank rewards with the 2 star roster. There is so much shady stuff in this game, I don't think your strategy even touches the TOS, or at least, I don't think anyone would care.

Not exactly. People care. What you're doing is causing an imbalance in the system, and people who shouldn't advance end up advancing, only to be trampled later when the others make their run. It's bad, whether explicitly prohibited or not.

yeah i know.

Honestly everyone approaches game modes differently,..with Battlegrounds i “don’t mind it”,..but no matter how much i win or lose i don’t put that much time into it. Even in GC if i get a few wins in a row i quit the mode,..because all the waiting and bull 💩 timers drives me nuts.

I do however like the rewards and without taking this approach this season,..i would never hit the milestones.

I don’t particularly feel great about loading my deck with 2 stars and it may not be inline with the competitive spirit of the mode,..but i can’t honestly put that much time into Bg’s,..i think i would lose my mind 🤪

well then they should remove everything under a 5* rarity from everyones deck.

It’s not my problem 2*’s are an option,..and i’m using them.

I’m literally having five second marches with my 2 stars and with all the timers and emojis being thrown around it still feels like an eternity,..AN ETERNITY OF PAIN 😂

But whatever,..if i broke any “rules” they can ban me ,..cause I don’t really care all that much anymore at this point.

this is what I am doing as well. No different than people forfeit when they needed to; but they have rosters to win on command in VC to meet alliance goals. I believe we were told all point farming bans ended with the 2 win, 1 loss token system.

Of all the options on the table, burning energy with 2 stars while eventually getting to GC is the least time consuming and will net me the most rewards. That said, I am not even sure I will be able to stand even that.

Like @Furrymoosen said, they seem bound and determined to keep farming a thing in BGs… so I am just going to go with it.

Sorry, but Kabam in defending no penalty for point farming said the one getting a free pass now benefits from the point farmer as well as they get 2 tokens instead of one…. so your beef is with them and no one else if you disagree.

If someone wants to use 2 star and lose, what's the big deal. The small accounts moving up will help them get better rewards and they would also get more points for their effort. It's a win win situation in my books. I hope to face some point farming myself so I can move up to GC faster. Lets help the small accounts move on up.
