I’m curious what the numbers show:

My alliance has seen a steady decline in participation in the last 6-9 months and there’ve been lots of complaints about the game.
Judging from AW competition, other alliances are having the same experience, but who knows?

Your thoughts? Are you also having much lower participation rates? Just wondering if this is just my experience. Thanks

What are the expectations/requirements of your alliance? That definitely makes a difference. People required to do less are inclined to do less, and alliances that push harder get more participation.

we’ve see a drop in participation too but are still getting the same ranks as before so harm no foul from my perspective

I am sure that is true across the board. Apparently the answer was to force alliance engagement with a poorly executed, explained side event like this month and punish those people that just want a simple fun option to play in their down time.
