BGs Anniversary Event Farming Strategies

I’m sitting in GC now after a very clean run through VT. No points in GC, and I’m only around 1700 points in the Anniversary event.

Is the best strategy right now just to throw 20-30 matches using energy (which is expiring) to boost event score?

Sure, I could grind BGs but that is really not my favorite thing to do. Playing for objectives from here out ought to net me another 700-800 points (assuming only a 50% win rate). Farming a similar amount at least puts me over 4K event points.

Anyone sorted numbers for this out yet?

tbh you would’ve been better off throwing matches in VT than GC,.,now you have to wait out those matchmaking timers that literally can take over 10 times the wait.

But better to start now than never i suppose,..it’s just gonna take you longer in GC .

load up energy refills and enjoy the AFK matches. Make your roster all 4 stars so you die quick but you don’t have to swipe back.

I found this to be the most successful strategy until I could straight point farm in lower diamond after a few days. You will get a few more points in GC per loss… so there’s that.

This is my current strategy for VT. 180 points a day. Usually 2 to 3 wins for a day

I'm at 4,220 points in battlegrounds anniversary event

322,900 points in alliance battlegrounds event

Just reached GC 2 days ago with 3 wins, 2 losses so far

It's best to win matches in GC to get the points you need to reach 5,000 points

Yes, losing is so much better time wise. Even with less points a match takes around 5 minutes total. Fill deck with thorns damage champs so you could maybe win some when you match with another smart guy

Checking my math on this…

…with 7 more days of two-day objectives, there’s a little over 2500 points available in GC (I think—120 points per win, 3 wins to get all objectives, 7 rounds of BG objectives).

Of course, that means winning three matches every other day, but that makes up half the score needed for all milestones.

Does that sound correct?

Playing fair and square would be my strategy. It is faster, more managable and fun to do.

I farmed VT the first 5 days, then rushed the GC objective, saw a bunch of manageable matches up to the 100 point objective... I stopped caring so now I just farm again and play for 48 hr objectives... Just queue and put my phone down, sorry whoever has to wait for auto drafts and all that; not my fault queing takes forever too.

I'm around 3k. People won't complain if rewards are balanced like this one. But damn this is grindy af. I'm tired.
