Has anyone else been experiencing increased battery drain and device overheating??

Since the update I was reverted back to 30 FPS, I changed back to the 60 FPS which I've been able to run without any problems on my Google pixel 9 pro since it was introduced, but since the update I can't play for more than around 30-60 minutes without my phone getting dangerously warm and the game is draining my battery far quicker than it ever has before. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I've never had this before but definitely only been happening since I updated. Did they change something??

Same here. Google pixel 9 XL pro. Phone gets warm very quickly. Only able to do about 3 BG matches before it gets really hot.

As fps was resetted, after change back to 60fps ,Mcoc runs smoothly

Same, it started heating after one fight. Which I find that a bit funny cause the fight didn't take more then a minute (35-45seconds I'm guessing).

Same, I use Vivo T2 and I haven't faced any lag issues since 60 fps was released. But now after the November update even on 60 fps my game feels like 30 fps

Yes, same here s25 ultra. Played for 15 mins this morning and im down 20% battery and feeling very hot

Same here oneplus 12R and it overheats and also kinda laggy. Had no issues before at all.

Yep, I’ve experienced the same thing. Even after resetting to 60 FPS, the game still behaves inconsistently, dropping to around 45–35 FPS. Performance on Android devices has been problematic for years. As I’ve said before, Kabam should add proper graphics settings to mobile, just like on PC, so we can disable the pointless fog and excessive particle effects — those are the main culprits behind battery drain and performance loss.

Same with me, all these years never had a actual phone problem, never...but now my phone is heating up in like 2-3 bg matches.

Thank you Pinwheel for the quick response. Really relieved to hear it's not just me and being actively investigated. Right now I can't even do more than 2-3 battlegrounds matches or even the daily quests without my phone heating to the point it has actually switched off. Making me pretty concerned about the upcoming war season. I'd hate to lose points for my alliance (were masters) just because my phone closes midway through due to overheating. The battery drain is a sub issue but I can't play long enough currently for it to be major anyway

I have an s24 here... after the update the game is lagging so much that I'm wondering if I need an s30 to be able to run this game now. S24 came out last year n it's freezing up on mcoc??

I actually have a minor issue due to overheating with my phone itself already. Apparently due to excessive heat the glue on the back panel is melted and now it come off a bit in one place. I dont consider it that serious and already ordered online the similar special glue to repair it myself but be careful.
