On a serious note I hope buff quality at least improves after they killed the rebalancing program. Yondu was an amazing buff, Skrull (and Jane though not in the same sale) barely moved up a few spots but overall they're just meh, I wouldn't put either in the top 10 in their respective class. Sure they will be decent questers and stuff (as most champs are, just making this very clear before Altavista comes with his classic "not everything is about BGs") but competitively they're gonna have zero impact on the meta

Lol that hasn’t been true for a while now, time doesn’t matter as much these days when chip damage is so prevalent. It used to be but defenders these days aren’t exactly nukeable, those days are for the most part gone. Last season I got to Mysterium by slow playing and consistently finishing at full health rather than trying to nuke, and rarely did I lose due to time so even I’ve changed my mind on the matter too. It’s not about speed anymore, it’s about consistency.

He’s actually a very good Red Skull counter because he pilfers all his armors.
Anyways rotations are actually very simple: against defenders with a lot of power gain or energize bait as may sp1s as possible (don’t even worry about chip damage tho you do need him at very high sig to do those matchups around 160-180 so the weaknesses do their thing); for regular matchups without power gain or energize just bait two sp1s and nuke them down from there no need not bait extra specials cause they just die after the sp2; for defenders with autoblock or other bs mechanics like evade you can just stick to hitting on block after the sp2 since all ruptures trigger through block and he can also crit through block. That’s it basically

Is he worth a class or generic AG? I got him by spending 11k units but want to hold off on spending the other 4k units to dupe him. Trying to save my remaining units for banquet.

Yes both, the awakened ability is where half of his utility comes from I wouldn’t even rank him up without it. The weaknesses are what allow him to be such a versatile attacker and take defenders like Serpent Photon and Bullseye but it has to be high sig, max if possible.
